"I've got hold of the RSPCA and they're taking Emily to the closest stable near to the refuge. Luckily it has a free place for her to board. They're taking her there later today and I've already given them the money from my bank to pay for the first lot of boarding fee's. The use their horse feed, which is included in the boarding price." My mum tells me the next morning.
"Oh mum, thank you so much!" I try hugging her but struggle to move much, due to my injury.
"You're welcome darlin! I know how much she means to you."
Mum still seems to be a lot happier. Hopefully things will be a lot better now. It can be like old times, me and my mum. We might be able to be happy again, just me and her. it's clear we won't be seeing him again, not on porpoise anyway.
I really can't wait until Kitty and Jase come! Mum has just gone to the gift shop in the hospital. She asked me what I wanted and I asked for a magazine. She's also getting some food. When Kitty and Jase get here she told me she'll go to the cafe to give us some alone time. She did say that she wants to meet Jase and see Kitty again. She always loved Kitty coming round, she was like her second daughter. that's always good because after all Kitty's like the sister I never had.
Then another thought suddenly washes over me.
Alice-Lucy.
That voice. It sounded like her. It must've been. when will I see her? I won't be able to spend as much time with Emily anymore. We don't have out stable after all and it won't be right outside.
Mum comes back in on her crutches, she says she's still really sore.
"Here you go." She says gently handing me a magazine. She places two sandwiches, two crisps, two diet cokes and two chocolate bars.
My mum still knows me. She got me my favourite type of sandwich (chicken), drink, crisps (cheese and onion MC Coy's and chocolate bar (which is of course a Mars bar).
"I got you're favourites." My mum says sitting on the chair next to my bed. she's stayed with me the whole time. I love her so much!
"Thank you!" I say smiling and opening my sandwich as she does the same.
