Chapter 10

It's been a month since I last seen Austin. I have to meet my editor in chief. Something about my next project. I walked into the meeting room. "Yes Robert?" I ask. He turns to face me. "You wanted to see me?" I say. He smiles. "Everyone loved your peace on Austin and so they wanted another piece!!" He excitedly says. "Oh my god!! That's amazing!!" I said jumping up and down. "Well since we are a gossip magazine, this article has to be up close and Personal." He emphasizes personal. "You mean?" I ask. He nods. "We want some juicy stuff about Austin's private life. Every girl wants to know. Trust me." He says snapping his fingers to make it sassy. I laugh. "Okay I got it. When does it start?" I ask. "Today. After work." He says handing me my new monthly schedule. I smiled looking at it. "I'm right on it." I say and leave the room. I set off to my job.

I was just set off to his house. I can't believe he still hasn't gotton the hint that I love him. Well now it just got interesting. I smirked and knocked on the door. Susan opened and smile like always. "Here to Austin eh?" she smirks. "Yes I am." I smile. "I'm glad your his girlfriend and not that other girl." She said. Girlfriend!!?? "Oh no your mistaken, I'm not his g-" Austin came and cut me off. "Hey Als. What are you doing here?" He asks. Susan let's me in and walks away. "I came to tell you that we will be doing another coverage on you." I smile. He smiles back and we walk to the living room sitting on the couch. "I know. I called Robert and told him about it." He smiles cheekily. "You set it up?" I ask. "No I just told him about your ratings." He smiles. "So what do the fans want to know?" He asks. I look at my notepad to see some questions. He pins me on the couch. "Do they wanna know how my kisses are?" He teases. I held notepad tightly while controlling my breath. "Umm no. They wanna know about your status, girlfriends, and stuff like that." I say. He suddenly gets off me like he's uninterested. He invites me to dinner. It was 7㏘ right now.

He was standing by the window as I sat on the couch. The moonlight shining on him made him look so beautiful. His blonde hair flopping just the right way. He looked so sad. "She hurt me so badly." He muttered. "I can never trust a woman." He mumbled to himself. "Austin. You can talk to me." I say. He looked over to me. "What is it with you?" He asks. "What is what with me?" I ask. "Your so much diferent from the rest. How come you haven't left me?" He asks. "Leave you? Why would I do that?" I ask. "I will tell you the reason behind why I was rude to you in the beginning." He says and looks back at the window. Susan left earlier so now it was just us. I looked him. "Earlier in my life, I had a reporter just like you come into my life. She was beautiful. I had just began my career. She was doing a feature on me. She did a coverage just like you are doing. I fell for her. She fell for me." He said. This pained me. I didn't think I would fall for him, but I guess I managed to. I looked down at my notepad and wrote as he kept talking. "One night just as we were going to express our love to each other, she left me. She never came back. I was shattered broken. I thought we were going to be together forever. I guess I was mistakened. That is why I don't trust females. I haven't had a solid relationship with any of them. When I first saw you that day,I all thought was beautiful." He said. I blushed. "Your loyal, obedient and special." He says. "I haven't in 2 years thought about a female in that manner. I always thought they were cruel just like she was!!" He said and tears seemed to have formed in his eyes. I got up.
