life as I know it

The days are good

the nights are sad

the wind smells of snow

colored doodles across my hand

the ache for something I've never known

the geese scream at me as I pass

the trees are bare and beautiful

life moves on and on and on

I think I'm ready to go home

AN: I don't even know what this poem is about. Just random snippets of my life, I guess.

The best kind of laughter is laughing when you really need it. When your day's been crap and someone says something that catches you off guard and you laugh until your stomach aches and your eyes water.

Yeah. That's pretty good.
