Thoughts of a Ham Sandwich

The four of us sit around the island of the community kitchen

we each come from different backgrounds

have different stories and views of the world

but we've got each other's backs

we listen and give the best advice we can 

we support and uplift each other

they're the best friends I've ever had

and as we sit, feeling tired of the world we're stuck in,

dipping strawberries and pretzels into melted chocolate chips,

there's no one else I'd rather be with

AN: Is anyone aware of other writing communities that haven't turned their focus to fanfic and smut? I'd really love to be more involved with other writers and build relationships but don't know where to start.
