I lay in bed
Feeling like my heart beat rocks the world
Back and forth
Like a boat on waves
Of salt
A dreadful day
Of numb pain
And a brain dry of necessary chemicals
The pill I took
Hasn't yet taken effect
They say it might take weeks
That it might send me spiraling
Or flopping
Like a fish who jumped out of the tank itself
But I remain hopeful
And tired
And tiredly hopefully
AN: Guess who finally got on anti-anxiety meds?! That's right, it's me.
