This piece is sort of inspired by Little Mix "Strip", which is a new song from their new album but it is also inspired by a future project I intend to be a part of with PrincessPoetess.
I take off my makeup
People say I'm ugly
But when I put it on
I'm beautiful, if I strip
To show my skin and
Confidence I'm labelled
A slut, "Nobody needs to
see your body, keep it to
Yourself," they shout, you
Just want to love yourself
But the shame follows you
Like a shadow, I have flat
Breasts so I'm not a woman
I have a big behind and so
"Sexy," everybody wants to
Touch it, even when I say
"No," and get real low, is
This world becoming a box?
You can't take a step out or
Be different because you'll
Get called out.
