This piece is inspired by Call Me By Your Name, on both the novel and movie. It blew me away and it has made me see so much, there wasn't a villain or anyone who could be opposed to the relationship between Elio and Oliver. It's a beautiful story of love and how it never really leaves us even when life takes us to different places.
Our mouths fit perfectly
Like clams circling each
Other in an embrace, my
Body had become yours
And your body mine, our
Eyes saw just us while those
Of others watched our story
Unfold, that day I touched you
On the shoulder saying you need
To relax, my heart sunk to see you
Feel you shiver underneath my touch
I told myself in scorn my skin would
Not touch your skin, feeling like I've
Molested you, I remember everything
Elio, lie down next to me holding my
Gaze and call me by your name.
