Space Dust

6 3 2

Spiders in cobwebs,
we climbed through the linen gates.
Dug holes in the walls,
biting on bullets to escape from
opposite worlds.
Your happy was a stranger standing by my happy,
you're satisfied with life
then facing me turned to a black mirage.
Space to fall in/ gasping on air.
Floating from stardust chipping off our hands. Star man,
I can't fix the damage unless we both work through mud.
Tread on broken glass,
bloody feet saving each other
from defeat.
My love,
your white flag stands proud
on a tower you built to keep far away from me. Strangers then,
strangers now calling out each other's bluff.
I see you now,
my heart belonged to a man
broken down by love.
Beaten by illusions
I call moments quickly gone by,
where are you? Where is us?
