I watched the rain
From the window
Hitting streets of
Paris, a hot mug
In hand, you said
It looks beautiful
"Romantic," even
I look outside to see
Deep grey clouds, no
Sun or the serenity of
A warm, blue sky and
A person or two walking
Alone, they should have
Someone by their side
To make them look less
Lonely.
