Staying focused:
- create school year goals for every quarter/semester and read them everyday
- reward yourself. it will make you to continue doing what's right.
- work on your homework habits. tell yourself to do homework first thing when you get back home. challenge yourself for a week if you can't finish homework by x hour.
- take care of your health. always eat breakfasts and lunch to keep you awake and fueled for the day and stay concentrated. don't forget to have at least 7-9 hours of sleep
- wear practical and comfortable clothing. nothing is worse than having to pay attention to uncomfortable clothing
- get a planner. this is an amazing way to organize your priorities and homework
- never be afraid to ask for help. it's better to look dumb right now than leave it long term.
