• Try deep breathing. Take a deep breath for four seconds then breath out for four seconds.
• Recognize that you're having a panic attack, not a heart attack. This will take away some extra stress or fear.
• Close your eyes so that you can focus on your breathing instead of everything going on around you.
• Name to yourself something you can see at the moment, hear, taste and touch.
• Try relaxing each muscle. Start with your fingers the move up throughout your body.
• Try keeping lavender essential oil around you. It's know to help calm you down. Or drink some chamomile or lavender tea.
