Dianne's POV
I woke up this morning to Amy bringing me a coffee she stayed the night last night. Today it was Monday and as Joe and I got through to next week we will be starting our new dance today. I'm so grateful to be able to spend another week with him.
"What dance you doing today ?" Amy Asks me
"The American smooth" I reply
"Ooo romantic ?" She questions
"Maybe a little" I blush
"Your blushing" she laughs
"Am not" I frown
"Ohhh, I didn't ask what was happening with you and Joe when I walked in on Saturday" she wonders
"Nothing, we were just chatting" I emphasise
"Yeah, right so there is still nothing going on between you too" she smirks
"No Amy there isn't, even though I want there to be" I say shyly
"It will workout, I promise" she sympathies
"Anyway I have to go meet Joe, don't you have to go dance with Danny" I say
"Oh god, yeah, have fun but not to much fun" she winks and rushes out
"Amy" I shout and then giggle
Soon after I head out to go meet Joe at the studio.
Joe's POV
I can't wait for today, Dianne and I got through to week 3 and I'm so excited to spend more time with here, I have about 20 minuets until I have to leave for the studio. I hear My phone ringing it was Byron, who is in Dubai.
"Morning" he says in his South African accent
"Morning, I have to head off soon I need to meet Dianne at the studio" I explain
"How is it going with you too, anyway" he questions
"Alright, I mean nothing's happened between us but maybe she's given me a couple of signals but I'm just enjoying spending time with her to be honest" I said
"That's good man, I think it might work out between, you I have been watching your videos and I can see spark" he says
"Cheers mate, look I have to go but we will talk later" I smile
"Alright bye"
"Bye"
A few moments later, I leave my house and head to the studio. When I arrive Dianne is already there and as soon as I see her I ask
"What dance have we got this week ?"
"The American smooth" she giggles
"Brilliant" I smile
We have been through the Dance once now at it is very romantic, I feel a spark between us although this dance is hard there is so much to remember.
"I told you there was a lot to remember" she grins
"Yeah, I thought you were joking" I laugh
"You will do great we still have all week to learn it" she says and heads over to the other side of the room to change some of the choreography.
I watch hers As she runs through a few steps "Dianne" I say nervously, she looks up at me
"Yes Joe?"
"Don't worry" I say and she gets back to work, I want to tell her how I feel but I can't, I'm gonna hold it off for a while longer.
After we have finished in the studio we decided that Dianne was coming round to mine to film the seconded reacting to our dance for the week.
We get to mine and I leave Dianne downstairs as I wanted to scare her, I tiptoed down the stares and jumped out in front of her. She screamed and I covered her mouth.
"Joe, That's was so mean" she said and hit my arm
"I'm sorry" I laugh and give her a hug "I couldn't help it
A few moments later we sat down and filmed our video, which went really well. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Dianne stays over for a while and we end up talking about her family back in Australia
"Yeah, I do miss them lot" she sighs "I feel lonely sometimes but joining strictly and dancing with you has really taken my mind of it" she says and looks up at me
"Glad I can help" I say
I'm really happy that Dianne has opened up to me, it shows that she really trusts me. A while later Dianne decides she should leave before but gets too late.
"See you tomorrow in the training room" she waves and walks to the Uber I booked for her.
What a day I thought and swung the door shut with pure happiness.
