Chapter 16 - Dance #6

Joe's POV
It was Sunday and luckily Dianne and I were through for another week, I was so excited because it gives us and excuse to hang out with each other. however it was Sunday which means it's a rest day for the both of us but I still wanted to see her. I get out my phone and send her a text.

Can I come over and see you ??

Dianne and I finally made us official yesterday and I realised I still haven't been to her apartment even though we have spent everyday together for the past 6 weeks. I get and almost instant response.

Of course, can't wait to see you

I grab a jacket and head straight to Dianne's.

Dianne's POV
Joe was coming over so I quickly gave my apartment a clean I didn't want it to be to messy. Suddenly my Phone started ringing, it was Amy so I picked up.

A: Hey Di
D: alright Amy
A: Wanna hang out today, I could come over
D: actually Amy Joe's coming round
A: Awww What's going on with you too
D: uhhhh
A: Dianne ???
D: There's something I haven't told you, we kinda kissed
A: You What, How was it ??
D: It was Amazing, an He kinda asked me to be his Girlfriend yesterday, I said Yes.
A: OH MY GOD !! You have been busy, I'm so happy for you though
D: Thank you, Don't tell anyone we are keeping it on the down low.
A: of course

There was a knock on my door.

D: I've got to go Joe's here
A: alright have fun

I open the door as I end my call

A: love you
D: love ya too

Joe gives me a strange look.

"Oh,it was just Amy" I explained

"That makes sense" he says and pulls me into his embrace and places a kiss on my lips.

"How you doing ?" I ask as I show him to my sofa

"Really well, I had such a good sleep last night especially now I know I get to dance another week with you" he grins

"I actually can't wait especially cause it's Halloween week which was amazing to watch last year and I now I get to compete" I squeal a little and he laughs

"Talking about this week, what dance are we doing ?" Joe Asks me

"We are doing a...." I make a drumming noise with my mouth and pretend to use drum sticks

"What is wrong with you" Joe laughs

I finally finish and shout "A foxtrot"

It's a little while later and Joe and I have just been hanging out and spending time together. I think to myself that I need to tell him that Amy knows about us but what if he gets angry and calls the relationship off. He wouldn't would he ? But I know I can not lie to him.

"Joe ?" I stutter

"Yeah" he says as he is sat on his phone

"Look at me" I giggle and throw a cushion at him and he stares in to my eyes

"What is it" he smiles and pulls me on to his lap

"Please don't hate me but I told Amy about us, and I only did because I told her ages ago that I liked you and she was gonna come over but you were going too" I explained to him

"Woah, Dianne stop, if you trust her not to tell anyone then so do I okay, I'm not annoyed okay and I could never hate you" he placed a long kiss on my lips

"Thanks Joe" I said and snuggled into my head

"So when you said you told her you liked me ages ago, how long is that"  he giggled and I threw another cushion at him.

Joe and I spend such a long day together. It was about 1:00am and I feel Joe pick me up and take me to my room, I knew he was about to go home but I didn't want him too.

"Joe stay please" I whined "you can sleep next to me in the bed"

I could almost hear the smile on Joe's face as he got into bed beside me. Training tomorrow for the foxtrot Dance number six and I couldn't wait.

Slightly shorter chapter than normal, I'm still ill 💗
