Chapter 31 - Dance #11

Joe's POV
Today was Monday and Zoe texted me yesterday asking if she and Alfie could pop in on our rehearsals which I agreed to. Dianne has never really met Alfie before just the odd hello on week 1. I don't want to see my sister but the thing is she doesn't know about Dianne and I which means we have secretive around them. I do kinda wanna tell Zoe but I'm slightly worried about her reaction because she's quite protective over me and I haven't had a girlfriend in so long.

Di and I are in the studio training waiting for Zoe and Alfie to arrive.

"I think I'm going to tell Zoe and Alfie" I say

"Yeah that's probably for the best means we don't need to sneak about today" she agreed

I start to get nervous because I have never really done anything like this before, and I think Dianne picks up on it. She comes over a gives me a big hug.

"Wanna know what Dance we are doing for musicals week, we will have extra dancers tomorrow" she explains

"Yeah sure, I'm really looking forward to anything this week" I say

"Okay well it's the Salsa" she says starting to dance and I try to join in. "Yeah I think we have some work to do" she giggled

We have been running through the dance for about an hour now, until my phone starts to ring, it was Zoe.

J: Hey
Z: Hiya we are just outside, will be a couple minutes
J: ah okay Di and I will be practising so come straight in
Z: cool, see you in a sec
J: Bye

"They are gonna be a couple minutes" I tell Dianne and hold both her hands

"So you gonna tell her straight away" she asks

"Yeah I think so, sooner they know the better"

We run through the dance again and as we are they both walk through the door. Dianne goes to stop the music as I say Hi to both of them. She then comes over and gives Zoe a hug before properly introducing herself to Alfie.

We sit down and have a chat for a while and drink the coffee Zoe and Alfie brought for us.

I put my coffee down and grab Dianne's hand smiling at her "um we have something to tell you.." I begin and Di nods her head "Dianne and I are seeing each other and have been since we danced the foxtrot"

"That's amazing" says Zoe who comes to give me hug instantly and then hugs Dianne

"That's amazing mate" Alfie says patting my back

"We are trying to keep it on the Down low so don't tell anyone, so far Byron and Emily know" I say

"And Amy" Di adds

"Don't worry mate we won't spill" Alfie says and Zoe agreed

We spend the rest of the morning running through the dance and spending time with Zoe and Alfie.

"Do you wanna come get lunch with Alfie and I" Zoe Asks Dianne and I

"Sure" I say looking at Dianne to make sure she agreed "you guys go get in the car Di and are just gonna grab our stuff" I tell Zoe and Alfie so they will leave Dianne and I alone for a minute

And soon as the close the door I crash my lips into hers "I'm so happy everything went well"

"Me too, I hope they like me" she says sweetly

"Trust me they do and you get on with them so well" I grin

We grab our stuff and get into the car with Zoe and Alfie before sitting down at a table in a nice cafe.

"What would you like ?" I ask Dianne

I order both mine and Dianne's food before waiting for it to be served.

"I think I'm really gonna enjoy the dance this week" I say

"Your a picking it up quicker Than usual" Dianne adds

"So are you to starting to think about the final" Asks Zoe

"I mean we are taking each week as it comes but we have thought that the final and it's defiantly a possibility now but we have to keep this salsa up to scratch, no slacking" I inform her

"Every week you are amazing" Zoe smiles

"To be honest mate I don't think I could do it" Alfie says

"I'm having the time of my life and not just by dancing" I grin at Dianne I go into kiss
Her before remembering we are in public. This is going be all over the press tomorrow.
