Dianne's POV
Dream
"That was amazing Joe" I say as we finish our dress rehearsal ready for later
"Follow me" Joe says
He takes me into this empty room and without any explanation crashes his lips into mine. Obviously I Kiss back and things get kinda heated.
"That was a pretty good dance" he smirks
"I can't wait for tomorrow" I say and place my arms around his neck and we lean in for another long kiss
End of dream
For about the fourth time now, my eyes jolted open. I really need to stop having these dreams. Joe and I are not a thing we never will be.
I decide to get up because I would be in an hour anyway, today is Saturday and the day of the dance. Joe is coming here and then we are heading straight for Elstree studios. I make a coffee and lay on the sofa reading through the article of Joe and I.
I kinda wish this was true but Anthony struggled with the distance, our relationship didn't end because of Joe, even though we are close. I sigh and put my phone on the table. A little part of me wishes it was kind of true but I'm trying to forget about that little part. A couple hours later Joe turns up.
"Alright ?" He says as I open the door
"Yeah, ready to go"
"Yeah, sure I'm feeling good about today you know" he says as we get into an Uber
"That's good, I'm expecting big things then" I joke, then Joe looks worried "I was joking"
"Yeah, I know" he laughs nervously
When we arrive we spend some time with the rest of the celebrities and their dance partners. I grab Amy "can I talk to you?"
"Of course" she smiles and we head to somewhere more private
"What's up ?" She Asks
"What does it mean when you keep dreaming about the same person" I say shyly
"What kinda dreams" she questions, I just look at her and I think she gets the idea
"What, Dianne, who ?!" She squeals
"It's... it's umm" I stutter
"Come on Di you know, you can trust me I won't tell anyone" she says comforting me
"It's uhhh Joe" i say quietly so she couldn't hear me
"Come on Dianne speak up" she giggles
"It's Joe" I say loudly and at that exact moment Joe walks round the corner "it's Joe" I say awkwardly and fist him on the arm, Amy starts to giggle quietly
"Okayyyy, I'm just going to hair and makeup" he says confused
"Alright" I smile
As soon as he walks around the corner Amy bursts out laughing.
"It's not funny" I hit Amy lightly
"What does it mean?"I ask
"Well how many have you had?" she replied
"Four or maybe even five" I say back
"Four or five" she laughs "Dianne this means you seriously like him
"I thought so, but what do I do about it ?" I mutter
"You need to found out how he feels look for signs and maybe it's a good idea to wait until after strictly to pursue anything" she suggests
"You right, thanks Amy" I give her a hug
I'm gonna start to look for any signals, I know that we stare at each other but that won't necessarily mean that he likes me back.
It's a while later now and Joe and I about to do the Charleston. That was so amazing Joe I whisper to him as we hug and head over to the judges. We got a score of 31 which is so good.
After the show is finished Joe and I go somewhere together to chat
"That was so good" I say
"That's all thanks to you" he smirks which makes me blush a little and I think that makes Joe blush too
"I really hope we get through" I say nervously
"So do I,I'm having so much fun with you" he says we stop and stare
All of a sudden the door opens and Joe and I jump breaking eye contact.
"Sorry I didn't know anyone was in here" Amy giggles
"It's fine Amy" I say through gritted teeth and She leaves
"We better get back to the others" I suggest
"Yeah" Joe says sounded kinda disappointed
Did we just have a moment ? I thought as we left the room what would of happened if Amy didn't burst in and interrupt us.
