Joe and Dianne's Strictly Journey

Chapter 41- TreeHouse

Joe's POV
We were going to the tree house with Zoe and Alfie later on today but first Di and I needed to pack.

"Joe get out of bed" she laughed and I pulled her onto me placing a kiss on her lips. "We need to get packing" she giggled

"Okay okay, is this my jumper ?" I ask

"Maybe..." she smiles "I was gonna pack it anyway"

I started to pick out a few clothes before Dianne completely started to take over making me laugh you know what it saves me a job.

"You look good in this and I like this one" she says throwing clothes into my bag

"Di we are only staying two nights" I laughed

"and this one is for me" she finishes

"You're gonna have more of my clothes in your suitcase than your own" I wrap my arms around her

"Exactly how I like it then" she puts a lingering kiss onto my lips "I'll make you lunch" she adds

We sit and eat our food before packing the car and leaving for the tree house it will be nice to get away for a couple of days especially because Dianne is leaving for Australia soon. I know I'm gonna miss her and especially because we won't be spending our first Christmas together but what Dianne doesn't know is I have tickets to fly on Boxing Day which were very expensive to get but it's so worth it and we will be flying back together for New Year's Eve.

We arrive at the treehouse before Zoe and Alfie so we have a drink and wait for them both to arrive. Suddenly I get a phone call I pick up thinking it was Zoe or Alfie however I have just been asked to host New Year's Eve on bbc with Stacey, they told me they were going to ring back later for my answer.

"Are they nearly here ?" Asks Dianne

"Actually That wasn't Zoe and Alfie I have just been asked to host the New Year's Eve fireworks on BBC" I explain but wait to tell her the catch

"That's amazing Joe" she gets up to give me hug

"Well actually they have asked me to cohost with Stacey" I explain

"Joe that's no reason for you not to take it, I trust you" she smiles and places a kiss on my lips

"But it's your first day back after Australia.." she cuts me off

"Shhh I'll be there" she smiles

"Finally you guys are here" I say as Alfie and Zoe walk in

"Blame Alfie he wouldn't get out of bed" Zoe giggles

"Alright, I'm Ill remember" he laughs

"Come on I'm so excited for you to see the treehouse" Zoe says hugging Dianne and I

"It's amazing, is that a real tree" exclaimed Dianne "I've never had a real tree before"

We all settle down and I take mine and Dianne's  bags into our room before getting changed into the onesies Zoe bought us.

"You look so cute" Dianne giggles and comes to give me a cuddle

She then gets changed it to hers and starts singing "Bare necessities, the simple bare necessities"

I laugh "Dianne if you asked me pick a film to what you look like that would be the last one to come to mind"

"I think I look cool" she smiles

"Your one of kind" I smile and she laughs at me

Zoe and Alfie where ordering room surface for us all
