Joe's POV
Saturday has rolled around wants again and it's time to perform my 10th dance on strictly. I woke up this morning feeling good since I haven't thrown up the last couple of days. I look to my right and Dianne was still fast asleep, I decide to get ready and leave her there, since she hasn't had much sleep lately because she had been up with me. I go downstairs and see Byron in the kitchen cooking breakfast.
"Just making breakfast for Emily and I, Dianne still asleep" he asks
"Yeah though I would let her, you're up early" i say
"No Joe mate, it's 9" he says
"What !! We were meant to be at Elstree 2 hours ago" I say freaking out "bro why didn't you wake me"
"Joe mate I only just got up" he says
"Shit I better go wake Dianne" I run up the stairs
"Di" I say shaking her gently "it's 9 we overslept we gotta go"
"What, shit" she says getting up and dressed
"What are we gonna tell them bit of a coincidence that we are both late" I question
"I don't know Joe" Di snaps
After an awkward silence "Sorry, I'm just so stressed"
After about 10 more minuets of panicking Di and I order an Uber and head to Elstree trying to think of a perfect excuse for both being 2 hours late.
"Look how many miss calls I have ?" Dianne says showing me her phone just as she receives another call.
"Joe and I are on our way" she frowns at me, I continue to listen to the conversation
"Driver got lost" she say quickly thinking
I smile at her, how can anyone argue with that.
"Honestly will be about 5 minuets" she says hanging up
"Didn't know you could actually use your brain" I laugh
"Oi" she giggles and hits me on the arm
We arrive at the studio a quickly make our way to our dressing rooms before heading to where everyone else was.
Dianne's POV
"Nice for you to join us" smirked Amy
I walk over to her leaving Joe to talk to Aj and Aljaz.
"Why you so late, pro rehearsals is in 10 minuets and you not even ready" she fussed
"Overslept" I say
"Really but your always up early, You and Joe must have been doing some serious business last night" she teased
"No, Nothing like that" I giggled and she gave me a subtle wink before joining the overs.
"Joe I'll be back in a bit, I need to go and change for the pro dance" I explain
"Yeah, sure" he replies
I look back just as I leave the room seeing Stacey approaching him, I hope she isn't to full on. I let out a big sigh and leave the room.
"You Good ?" Amy Asks coming with me
"Yeah fine" I put a fake smile on my face.
She gives me a sympathetic smile and puts her arm around me whilst walking to the wardrobe team, I think she knows what's up.
Joe's POV
As soon as Dianne leaves I feel a small tap on my shoulder, I turn around and see Stacey.
"Alright ?" I smile hoping she won't try anything
"Yeah, I'm good I just wanted to say Sorry" she smiles faintly
"What ?" I ask slightly confused
"Well I broke up with my boyfriend recently and I guess I was just looking for comfort, I shouldn't of portrayed myself to you like that" she explained
"It's alright stace" I Say
"Friends ?" She questions
"Sure" I say nervously knowing that Dianne might not be to happy about this.
She pulls me into a hug and as I'm still in Stacey's embrace I hear Aj say "Dianne you look amazing"
Shit, I turn around to see a disappointed looking Dianne and a sympathetic Amy with here arm around her.
"Thanks Aj means a lot" she puts a smile on.
"All pros need to come this way" says the guy
"Di, can we talk.." I ask quickly
"I need to rehearse Joe" she says sternly
"Please Di" I say again
"No I have to rehearse" she snaps at me and I watch as Amy comforts her before the leave to go rehearse and film there dance for tomorrow.
I end up sitting in Dianne's dressing room waiting for her to return, I know we need to get over this we have a street dance to perform in a few hours. I hear the door open, and get up from the seat.
"Joe what you doing her ?" She sighs
"Di, it wasn't what it looked liked she was apologising for acting how she did, I can assure you she won't try anything" I explain
"Yeah right" she says I try to grab her hands but she pulls away.
"Di please trust me, you know I love you, Stacey is nothing to me, I promise you she just wanted to apologise" I say moving a strand of hair from her face
"It's true" I hear Stacey say, she walks in as the doer was left open "I don't like Joe like that, I promise he's all yours" she grins before leaving straight away
"You believe me now, please" I beg
"I'm so sorry for overreacting" she exclaims
"You didn't I would have felt the exact same" I say brining her into a long hug "Come on let's go smash this dance"
We ended up not dropping any balls and received 2 tens and the best thing of all we are through to next week.
