Joe and Dianne's Strictly Journey

Chapter 14 - The date

Dianne's POV
Today is the day of Mine and Joe's date but before that we have training together, I'm kinda nervous for our date later because I want it to go really well I'm sure it will and I hope I don't put Joe off me. I get ready early morning and head to the training room this is becoming such a normal routine. I arrived just before Joe and then we started our dance. I loved the waltz so much and this song was perfect for it, I really think Joe is going to ace the dance this week.

"You are doing amazing this week, only a couple things to work on" I say

"That's good because I got plans in a few hours" he grins

"Really, With Who ?" I smirk

"Just some girl I met, you might know her" he teased

"Okay we need to stop" I giggled

"Agreed" he laughed

We smile into each other's eyes, I have never felt like this about anyone. We keep dancing and we're having such a great time I never want mine and Joe's strictly journey to end.

"We will run it through one more time, and that time has to be almost perfect before we leave" I explain

"Okay" He agrees

We have now done that dance a few more times and it's still not how I want it and Joe is starting stress.
Finally we get through it and it was the best he has ever done it.

"Was That Alright,can I go now" he asks stressed out

"You really like hanging out with me" I teased

"That's not what I mean" he stropped

"I know" I giggled and he still looked upset "hey, why you so stressed" I asked and grabbed hold of his hands

"Because I need to go home and make everything perfect for later" he confessed

"Awww Joe, I couldn't care if you microwaved a meal and put it on a plate, I just want to spend time with you" I say

"Yeah but I want it to be amazing, especially because I can't take you out" he replies

"Anything you do for me will be amazing" I smile 

"I'm wearing a suit though, okay" he said

"Alright, I need to go home and get ready then, I'll see you later" I smirk and give him a hug, he places a kiss on the top of my head.

I get home in record time and now it is my turn to stress, I need to look perfect for later. I put on a dress and do my hair and makeup. I can do this, even though Joe and I have known each other for ages and we are such close friends, I'm still extremely nervous for our date I just want things to work out with us so much but if the don't they don't. I then get into an Uber and head to Joe's, I thank the driver and knock on his door taking a deep breath.

Joe's POV
I get home as quickly as possible, so I can prepare for mine and Dianne's date. I start to prepare our meal and while I'm waiting for it to finish cooking I go upstairs and have a shower, then I put on my suit and do my hair. I head back downstairs and make sure dinner was fine. I was getting nervous now I knew Dianne would be here soon and I don't want to let her down. I set the table and then I wait for her to arrive. Suddenly I hear a knock at the door and I know it is Dianne. I open up the door and see Dianne on the other side she looks absolutely beautiful.

"Hey" she smiles

"You look beautiful" I confess

"Thank you, something smells nice" she says

"Just something I cooked up, it wasn't that hard" I laugh

"Sarcasm, I like it" she grins

"I don't think I have done anything so hard" I explain

"Dancing is easier then ?" She questions and I show her to her seat

"Yeah" I laugh

"Your so cute" she smiles and I turn to look at her "you look really good tonight" she tells me

I blush slightly and say "well they say you should dress to impress" I hand her a wine glass and fill it.

"Well you look very handsome" she grins "I can't wait to waltz on Saturday" she adds

"I know I'm so excited" I say dishing up our food

I hand her the meal and she says " Joe this looks amazing thank you for going into so much trouble for me"

"Anytime" I grin

Dianne and I sit and eat our meal, then we sit and watch a film. Dianne places her head on my chest and she ends up falling asleep. She wakes up a little while later.

"What's the time?" She asks removing her head from my chest

"12:30" I say

"I should probably get going but thank you soo much for tonight" she smiles whilst picking up her bag and heading for the door.

"See you tomorrow in training" I give her the longest hug.

All of a sudden she breaks away and stares at my lips before crashing hers into them. We share a long passionate kiss.

"See you tomorrow" she smirks
