Joe's POV
It was Thursday evening and Dianne and I were going to Blackpool, I don't think I have ever been this excited.
"Ready to go" I ask Di as she packs her last couple of things
"Soooo Ready" she says in a her Aussie accent
I order us an Uber and we head to get our train to Blackpool. We arrive late that night and book Into our hotel. Charles and Karen arrive so we spend some time chatting to them before heading up to our rooms. I escort Dianne to her room and she dumps her stuff before coming with me to mine.
"We have such a comfy bed Joe" she giggles
"We do" I say flopping down next to her
"You don't mind me staying with you, do you ??" She Asks
"Course not you know I prefer it this way" I smile "let's try not to get caught" I added
"I'll fo grab my things" she says getting up
"Don't worry I got it" I stated
As I was collecting Dianne's things and leaving the room, Aj was walking towards me.
"Leaving already Joe" he jokes
"Nah wrong room" I smile hoping he won't realise I have Dianne's stuff
I manage to get back to my room without bumping into anyone else.
"Room service" I shout knocking on the door "here are you bags my love"
"Thank you sir" Dianne laughs
Dianne and I snuggle up on the bed and watch a film before deciding it was time for bed.
My Alarm woke me up early the next day and to my surprise Dianne sleep through it. I groaned and switched it off, then I woke Di.
"Morning" I say in a Wiltshire accent she just opens her arms and I pull her into a cuddle
"Ready for the Day" I ask
She nods her head " I'll make breakfast" she climbs out the bed a trips over the bags begging to laugh.
"Owww" she giggles
"You okay" I say between fits of laughter
"Yeahhh but owww" she says and I laugh again "you know what I think I should make breakfast"
"Probably a good idea" She Agreed
After breakfast we get an Uber to the Blackpool Tower.
"I'm so excited" Dianne says holding my hand I laugh "What ?" She whined
"Nothing, You're just so cute when your excited" I confessed and she smiled back at me.
"I can't wait for tomorrow" she grins
"Neither, I..... cant wait either" I stuttered shit it almost slipped out I almost told Dianne I loved her she won't feel that way yet is it too soon ?
Dianne gives me an odd look knowing my sentence did not make sense. We step into the ballroom for the first time.
"This is amazing" I say pulling Dianne I or my side
"I know right and I finally get to compete" we both smile at each other, I don't think I stopped smiling all day to be honest I'm just sooo Happy.
The pros run through the routine they are all amazing but Dianne stands out to me she dances so beautifully and you can see how much she enjoys it.
I sit peacefully watching my girlfriend dance in awe.
"Joe" Stacey says making me snap out of my thoughts
"Watching Dianne are we" she smirks
"Come on, come with me" she suggests
"I think I would rather sit here" I say
"Come on it will be fun" she almost pressures me too but I know I can't.
"Thanks but no thanks" I smirk.
"Suit yourself" she walks off and I see Dianne coming over
"What did she want?" She Asks jealously
"Wanted me to go with her somewhere, but I would so much rather sit here and watch you dance" I say making her smile. I love her.
Dianne's POV
We head back to the hotel with a few of the others, it was pretty late now and we needed to get some sleep before the big Day tomorrow. I was about to follow Joe into our room when I remembered I couldn't, otherwise every one else would know something is going on.
"Goodnight everyone, night Joe" I say he looks confused at first before understanding that I'm coming back.
I shut the Room door behind me and wait about 5 minutes or so before knocking on Joe's Door.
"Heyyy" he closes the door behind me and pulls me into his embrace.
We spend a little time together before hoping into bed and falling fast asleep ready for tomorrow.
I think I Love him.
