Chapter 20 - The Interveiw

Joe's POV
It was Monday morning and Dianne and I have training today. Last night after Di left I got a call, I have and interview tomorrow for strictly the problem was it was with Stacey. I'm pretty sure it's the same time as pro rehearsals so I won't miss any training but I'm worried that Stacey is going to
Ruin my relationship with Di. I don't think she is going to be happy when she hears the news so on the way to training I pick up some flowers and chocolates. I get to the training room and Dianne is already there running through what looks like the choreography for our Paso Doble.

"Hey, I bought you these" I smile and hand her the flowers and chocolate

"Thank you Joe,you're so cute" she gives me a long hug and places a kiss on my lips

"Well I thought, you would need them after what I'm going to tell you" I frown a little

"What is it" she says placing the chocolate and flowers down and grabbing my hands

"So I have and interview later for strictly, for like a magazine but so does Stacey and we have to go together" I frown

"Oh" she says looking upset

"I promise you it will be fine I won't let her touch me and I'll make it known that I'm not interested" I say trying to reassure her

"Look Joe I trust you okay, have fun" she smiles at me which was a little fake

"You're amazing Di" I pick her up and spin her around kissing her again

I pull her into my embrace as we talk "It's the same time as your pro rehearsals"

"I'll come get you after and then we can carry on rehearsing" she explains

Later that day
Joe's POV
So I have just arrived at my interview and I see Stacey across the room, she comes walking over to me.

"Alright" she giggles

"Good thanks you?" I smile slightly

"I'm really good, thanks for asking" she smirks at me and touches my hand I instantly feel uncomfortable.

"Yeah" I say pulling my hand away

"How's training ?" She asks

"Really good" I say

"Are you both ready" says the interviewer

We sit down on chairs next to each other.

"Joe if you could put your arm around Stacey we can take a picture do the front cover" he asks me

I sigh and reluctantly put my arm around Stacey she smiles at me and scoots closer he better hurry up with this picture.

"Umm can we take that again, Stacey try not blink" says the photographer

After about 100 attempts of the photo we finally get one, she was really dragging this out and not making it easy for me.

"Finally" I say after we get the picture

"What do you mean ? that was fun" Stacey says flirtatiously.

Is she seriously trying to flirt over a picture. The interview was actually going alright until the final question.

So the Strictly curse, any of camera romances ?

"Not That I know off ?" I say

"What about you a Di we all read the article" she smirks

"No we are just good friends" I say through slightly gritted

"You are ? Maybe we could have a go" she giggles

"Uhhh good Joke" I laugh awkwardly

"I am pretty funny, no we are just good friends" she grins putting her arm around me.

Dianne's POV
We have just finished pro rehearsals and I was going to pick up Joe, I was kinda nervous to find out what happened and wasn't looking forward to watching Stacey flirt with him. I watch Joe come out of the interview room and he looked like he was in bad mood.

"Are you okay ?" I ask

"No" he frowns

He explains to me about the whole situation with the last question and what Stacey was saying. Talking about Stacey I see her looking at Joe.

"She's looking at you ?" I say and he turns around she sends him a very flirtatious wave.

Suddenly I feel Joe's arms wrapped around me, he was so sweet and best of all I got to see the jealous look on Stacey's face. 

"I'm only looking at you" he whispered before pulling away

"Come on let's go" I say before hearing Stacey shout "bye Joe" we ignore her and both continue walking

"You ready to train" he grins

"Sooo Ready" I smile
