Joe's POV
Thursday the final day of training all three dances are coming together nicely and I'm so excited to for Saturday night although it's going to be the very last time Dianne and I dance together on the strictly floor. My mum is coming to training today to see how we are doing as she's not coming to the show on Saturday. I made sure she was going to be and Zoe's strictly party instead. I think today might be the day to let her know about Di and I as she should probably know before my viewers and the rest of my friends.
"Di?" I say
"Yeah" she smiles applying her false eyelashes god knows why she needs them on for training
"I think we should tell my mum today about us and also your family we could call them ??" I ask
"Yeah you're right we need to let them know before everyone else, we could ring your dad too" she says and I agree coming from behind and I place a kiss onto her cheek.
"We better go and get as much training in as possible before my mum arrives"
Its a while later and my Mum is now here and to our surprise so are Zoe and Alfie, they are all here to wish us good luck for tomorrow. I give them all a hug and so does Dianne.
"Do you mind if you just watch us train for a while we really need to run through this and then we can sit and have a quick chat" I explain and Dianne nods
"Of course" My mum says and they sit down to watch us
"Right we will run through each dance twice lets start with the Charleston and finish with the show dance" suggests Dianne
I chat with my family whilst Dianne gets the music ready and we begin our routine and finish it with only a couple minor things Dianne wants me to change. After we finish all our dances we spend some time chatting before everyone arrives to film the VT for tomorrow.As Dianne is filming first I decide if i should bring up her and I but decide against it we should probably do this together.
we all sit watch as she talks through her tears "awww" says Zoe and I smile at her with us both knowing.
once shes finished I walk over to her and give her the biggest hug "you told you mum yet?" she asks
"no not yet i think we should do it together" I explain and she nods her head before pulling away
Everyone was about to leave before I said mum and took hold of Dianne's hand and instantly I think she knew what I was about to tell her.
"Di and I together, Zoe and Alfie know but we thought we would tell you before anyone else" I say slightly nervous its been a while since i have told my mum about a girlfriend
"That's amazing" she said before coming over to give us both a hug "How long has this been going on for then ?"
"Its been official since Halloween week" I confessed
"I couldn't be happier" Tracey said before giving us another hug and saying goodbye
Di and I Smile at each before placing a long kiss on each others lips.
"Come on lets finish training" I grin at her
it was now almost 11:00 and we had finished our last day ever of training, a small tear rolls down my cheek, I can't believe I'm crying it just shows how much I have loved this experience.
Dianne's POV
It breaks my heart to see Joe crying I walk over to him and give him the biggest hug as I begin to cry, what an experience this has been and best of all I found Joe out of it. I place a lingering kiss on his lips. Before I take his hand he switches the light off for the last time before heading back to Joe's for the night. When we get back Byron is moving out the last few boxes of his stuff he is going to live with Emily which leaves Joe alone again all though I practically live here anyway.
"I'm heading out mate, I'll be over tomorrow though still got a few bits to move" he says
"Alright see ya mate" Joe says before joining me on the sofa and I rest my head on his chest
"So your dad first ??" I ask him
"Sure" Joe says before getting out his phone and FaceTimes him
"Alright Dad" Joe says and I make sure to stay out of shot
"Uhh I've got something I would like to tell you" he says
"Joe man I've told you, it's meant to look like that you don't have a STI" he jokes
"Dad" he moans and I giggle a little
"Sorry I'm joking I'm joking, what's up" he laughs at little
"So you know Di and I are in the final and have Been spending a lot of time together" he states "well" he says turning the camera on to the both of us "we are together"
"That's great, you got yourself a good one there Joe don't fuck it up" Graham smiles
"I won't do, anyway dad we gotta go, sorry to spring that on you" he says
"Nah I'm happy for your both"
We finish the call with Joe's Dad before we phone my family, I have my mum, my dad, and my brothers in front of me.
"G'day" I shout as I see there faces appear on the screen "soo I have something to tell you all"
I move the camera to Joe and I "We are together"
"That's wonderful, how longs it been" they ask
"Since Halloween week" I say
"And you've kept it a secret for that long proud of you sis"
"Shhh Andrew it's still a secret" I giggle
It's so nice for our families to know about us and we don't have to keep it a secret from the rest of the world for much longer
