Kara

Weeks had passed since the premier party and with that, Matt had changed. He had been distancing himself an awful lot and blowing me off. I didn't know what was up.

I picked up my phone and decided to call him. It was a Saturday evening and I was all alone.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Babe," I responded.

"Baby hey. You good?" he asked.

"Well no. I haven't seen you a while. Are you okay? What's going on?" I asked as tears silently streamed down my face.

"I'm sorry I been really busy. It's kinda hard to explain. But don't you worry about thing okay princess," he explained.

"I miss you," I muttered.

"I miss you too," he said softly.

"Can I see you tonight?" I asked.

"I can't. I'm sorry. Maybe some other time? When everything isn't so crazy like right now," he suggested.

"Alright," I sighed, "can you at least stay on the phone longer?"

"I can't do that either. I gotta go. Stay safe babygirl talk soon," he signed off.

"Bye," I said but he dropped the call mid-sentence.

I decided to get my earphones and FaceTime Caprice.

I quickly wiped the tears that formed on my face and waited for her to accept my call.

"Hey!" Caprice's voice blasted through my earphones.

"Hi," I chuckled minutely.

"What's up Rara? Rara look sad. That make Capri Sun mad," she furrowed her eyebrows with a sulk.

"Matt blew me off again. So yeah I'm alone," I sighed.

"Aww best friend. We're gonna have a nice talk about this on Monday at lunch. Lunch therapy with Caprice Waldo. The best time at the best price. Free!" she exclaimed causing me to laugh. She was in a good mood. Meaning only one thing. I put it to the test.

"Caprice come over," I suggested.

"Well I would but," she lifted her camera and I saw Sam focused on something as he was jamming buttons on a controller. His controller with his hands were literally resting on Caprice's ass.

I knew it. Caprice will only be in a super good mood because of a boy.

"Oh," I cooed and pouted, "nice to see you two getting along."

"Yeah," she blushed. I heard Sam's voice raise in victory.

"I won which means you win too," he leaned forward and kissed her.

"Oh damn!" I laughed.

"Oh hey Kara," Sam smiled and looked into the phone, "your best friend is the cutest isn't she."

"She really is," I smiled, "alright don't wanna disturb the two lovebirds. I'll leave you guys to it."

"Bye bye," she smiled.

"Bye Kara," Sam kissed Caprice on the cheek and dropped the call.

At least they're happy.
