Relevance

Hindsight is the most potent tool. You can look back on a troubled time and see that your worries were inflamed, perhaps unnecessary in that moment. That's the thing with life; no single moment is forever relevant. This, of course, is both good and bad. Bad in that sheer happiness is bound to be replaced with low moments, and good because the darkness is not perpetual.

Relevance has much to do with perspective; practically intertwined. When your perspective changes, events in your life can become more or less relevant.

This is important to realise because it can influence the way you lead your life. You can use it a source of strength, a way to remind yourself of the big picture. A constant reminder that, in the impermanence of high school, nothing becomes relevant when you finish. A reminder that the moment you live in is only relevant in that single moment, so you should practice mindfulness. Mosth of all, I think it's about not getting too caught up in the superficial, in products and rather than feelings. Because feelings might the only thing that stays relevant forever; a spectrum in itself.
