Lan WangXian: (eyes at the door while sitting inside his cot; looks sleepy)
Lan XiChen: (babysitting WangXian) A-Xin..
Lan WangXian: Mama?.. Baba?..
Lan XiChen: They'll be back soon, I promise. So.. Go to sleep.. It's past your bedtime..
Lan WangXian: (pouts) Xen.. Il ait mama baba om bak hom.. (*Zhen will wait mama baba come back home.)
Lan XiChen: Okay..
Lan WangXian: (leans his head between the rail of his crib) ... (ends up falling asleep)
Lan XiChen: (smiles) Sorry, A-Xin.. If only they didn't need to go together for this night hunt, you wouldn't be waiting this late.. (slowly moves WangXian to lie him down on bed properly; hears the front door open)
Wei WuXian: (whispers) We're back..
Lan WangJi: It took us longer than expected..
Lan WangXian: (wakes up) Mama.. Baba.. (looks about to cry; gestures wanting to be picked up)
Wei WuXian: You should be in bed by now. (holds WangXian in his arms)
Lan XiChen: Neither of your used robes worked. We managed to fool him before, but not anymore. He wouldn't go to sleep and kept on asking for both of you.
Lan WangJi: I'm sorry for the trouble, brother.
Lan XiChen: It's no trouble at all. (WangJi and WeiWuXian thanked him again before he left)
Wei WuXian: (rocking WangXian to sleep)
Lan WangXian: (eyes look very sleepy) Mama?..
Wei WuXian: (lies down on bed with WangXian) I'm here, little one.. (kisses WangXian's forehead)
Lan WangXian: ... (tries to keep his eyes open) Baba?..
Lan WangJi: (lies down beside them) Right here. (kisses WangXian's head)
Lan WangXian: (lying in between his parents; yawns; one hand holding Wei WuXian's hand while the other WangJi's and falls asleep this time)
Wei WuXian: Sleep well, our little Lan..
Lan WangJi: Good night..
