Song: Remedy - Alesso
Chance's POV:
Holy fuck
Holy fuck!
I could see her.
She was walking towards me.
I didn't know what to do at this point.
Run, hide, walk towards her or vomit from the anxiety that had been sitting in the back of my mind.
No.
Stop that, you'll be fine.
After my vision had un blurred, and I actually gave her a good, hard look was when my breath was truly caught in my throat.
She was drop dead gorgeous.
I could see her long, dark hair had been curled as it fell around her elbows. The black dress she wore was absolutely stunning. Not to mention she had legs that seemed to run for miles. Damn, she had a nice body. But that wasn't the thing I was so intrigued about.
It was her eyes.
"You must be Chance." She said, causing me to become knocked out of my trance by her gentle, soothing voice that I had longed to hear in real life. I shook my head briefly, now staring down at the small beauty in front of me.
"I-I-Uh yea." I stuttered. As if the confirmation was all she needed, she did something I wouldn't have expected her to do at all, which made my heart beat become erratic.
She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me.
At first I was stunned, just standing there dumbly with her much smaller body against my own larger one. When I finally realised what was happening, I slowly wrapped my arms around her, moving my head to rest on the top of her hair.
She smelt good.
After a minute of hugging, she was the first to pull away. I was slightly disappointed in that matter. It was the first time in a long while that I had felt a string of electricity surge through me.
"Hi." She began, a blush forming on her beautiful face.
"Hi." I gulped, staring into her icy blue eyes.
"I'm sorry for doing that, I just-." I cut her off from her rambling.
"No. It's ok. I hugged you back didn't I?" I asked, cocking my pierced eyebrow as she blushed even harder.
"Yea I guess so." She giggled.
After a minute of us just staring at each other, I cleared my throat.
"We should probably go inside?"
"Yea, of course." She replied quickly.
Ok, be a gentleman.
As she began walking towards the door, my brain kicked into gear and I hurried towards it. I grabbed ahold of the large handle in my equally large hands and began to open it.
I took a small step to the side, sending her a smile as she blushed. She pushed a strand of her behind her ear and thanked me. She began to walk into the restaurant.
My eyes couldn't help but linger down.
Stop! Gentleman remember!
After a quick glance and a racing heart beat, I snapped my eyes up. I scolded myself briefly while inhaling through my nose and out again.
