Chapter 5

"We are not normal persons, Xena. We are called, Demons." My eyes went wide by the words that he said. Demons? Me? Like what?

I look at him confused and he start to stare at me and quickly avoid his eyes at me and look straight to the TV. "What do you mean by demons? I mean what does that mean of what I am?" I said confused.

He looks at me and move his body straight to face me. "It means that you are half demon." He said and stared at me. "What? is that even possible?" I asked and he nodded. This is crazy! Like how can a human be a demon? I held my head and just form into a ball. He is still staring at me so I remove it and look to the TV.

"Brrr." I heard my stomach grumble. What the? why now. I look at him and he smirked. He's laughing at me! This is embarassing. "Why are you laughing?" I ask him and crossed my arms. "Ask your stomach why." He said and stood up and walk to the kitchen.

I followed him to see what he's gonna do. He removed his t-shirt showing his built body. He take the apron from the hook that is on the wall and wear it. Is he gonna cook?

I walk straight to his side so I can see what he's gonna do. He's stirring an egg that is covered with a bit onion and meat. He look at me and went back to cooking. I guess he's letting me watch. He take the carrots from the Refrigerator and look side by side. Is he looking for a something?
He suddenly stopped moving his head and stared at my side. I look at where he's staring and I saw a knife.

Why am I imagining things! Agh! He pat me by my shoulders. I look at him and he pointed his eyes to the table. Is
he telling me to sit? "What? now your commanding me to sit." I said and crossed my arms. "Yes." He said seriously. I hold my hand up like I was being arrested by a police.

"Ok, ok." I said and walk straight to sit on the chair. He's so demanding and I really am annoyed. I waited there watching his broad back and his hand moving by chopping and marinating things. I just stared at him. I realized to myself that I 'm staring to him a little weird. I quickly remove my gaze from him and just waited while I caress my hands to calm myself down. How is Laura? I'm very worried. I realize that the situation is bad now and Laura has been kidnapped. I put my hands on my head and thinking about her and what will I do to save her.

"Hey" I look up and he's already on the chair sitting with the food all around the table. I look at what he cooked. "It's an omelette." He said as he offered me a spoon and fork. I took it and said "Thanks." We both start eating.

When we are done eating I put the plate on the sink and wash it. When I finished I went to my room and Lock the door. I sighed. I have to move and I have to save her. I walked to my cabinet and changed my clothes. I took my black sando, jacket, ripped jeans and wear it. I walk downstairs and slowly go out so he would not hear me. I took my bloody rose and step away from my house. I walk to the car and open it. I got inside and quickly start the car and drove away.

"I'll come get you, Laura." I said and drove faster. I was in the city to find her there but no sign of her anywhere. Where are you? I got out of my car and walk on a empty road. I stopped as I saw a cake shop. Laura loved this shop. She often drag me here and eat the cakes in the fridge. I'm glad that this shop has many preserved cakes like it never even lasts. I always tease her that she's getting fat when she eat many sweets. I just stood there and kept thinking of how happy I am with Laura but now she got kidnapped by them.

I kept walking on the road and I heard footsteps from my right side. I looked and point my bloody rose at it. "Who's there!?" I said and nothing responded. I slowly walked where the sound of the footsteps is. I looked around and nothings there. I put my gun down and began walking away. I thought that they ran away already. I stopped when suddenly I saw a large figure coming towards me.
