Chapter 11

I looked at Zero with my eyes full of curiosity. His red eyes  just stared at the moon with sorrow filled in it.

"I was banished from hell when I disobeyed one of the Dukes. I saved one of the children when we are attacking the village..." He said and just went silent for a second...

"Dog, go get the children." My master hissed and I just nodded at him. I looked at the village, it was on fire . I quickly ran to look for the children. I stopped as a group of soldiers blocked my way. I growled at them and the one in the middle stood out and put his torch up. 

"Attack!" He shouted and they all launched at me. I stayed on my ground, waiting for them to come. When they are in front of me I attacked them with my sharp teeth penetrated on their flesh and one by one I killed all of them...

I walked one of the house of the villagers and was startled when a gunshot hit my chest. I groaned a little but didn't hesitate to look at the person who shot me.

It was a man who has a beard and full of scratch on his body was looking at me with rage filled in his eyes. I saw a little girl behind him and looked at me with her scared eyes.  I growled at the man in front of me and let my teeth out to show my aggressiveness.

He didn't flinched a little, this man is very brave. He held his hand to the little girl but his gun was still pointed at me. The man murmured something to the little girl and she flinched and tears fell down from her terrified eyes. She pulled the man's clothe but the man looked at her with his eyes furrowed. 

The little girl just cried and then quickly ran outside. I rushed to follow her but the man shot my legs and I groaned in pain. I looked at him and I saw his rage filled eyes staring at me. 

"I won't let you  take my daughter." He said with his mad expression. He shot again but I quickly dodged it and I launched at him but he dodged me. He ran fast at me and stabbed me with a knife in my back. I growled in pain and I bit his hands off of me and then he screamed in pain.

I throw him on the wall and he groaned in pain. I walked to him and he tried to reach his gun but I kicked the gun away he looked at me with his bloodied face and I growled to him. I was shocked when I saw a smile on his face. Why is he smiling at this situation?

I froze as he reached for my face and caress it. "I know that you will protect my daughter." I just looked at him with pity because I know to myself that I will not do that. But why can't I kill him already? Something on my mind says that this is wrong. 

"You are not like them... You are different." he said with a weak smile and his hand fell down from my face. He died... 

Something inside me feels weird as if... half of me believes him. But I know that if I do something stupid there is more trouble coming for me. What is wrong with me!?

I heard a scream outside and I quickly ran to it, I saw the little girl who was cornered on the wall by my team. I shook my head as I heard a loud voice coming. "I know that you will protect my daughter."  I shook my head again as the voice kept coming. 

"You are different." I realized that what I'm doing is wrong but I have a purpose and right now that purpose is to save the little girl... 

I quickly ran in front of the little girl and growled at my mates. They were startled, "What are you doing!?" Yasha said to me with her startled face. "I'm not going to let you take her." I said and Bathin suddenly growled hard at me. "You know what will happened once you disobey our masters." He said and I looked at them. "I don't care." I said without hesitation.
