Chapter 17

The whole time, Link just stayed with me to comfort me. His hands were wrapped around my waist and back. 

Even if I'm in a weak state, Link is always there to comfort and protect me. So right now I kind of own him a 'thank you.' 

When I felt a little better I released my hand and put my head on his chest. I felt him looking at me. I pulled him slowly away from me and he let his grip drop from my body.

I looked at him and saw his worried expression. His grey eyes were down and it was very sad. I kind of felt bad of what I did to him. I have to do something to make him relieved.

I wiped my eyes with my hands and looked at him seriously. I moved my face close to him and gave him a peck on his cheek. 

I moved back and saw his eyes wide open. His cheek was slowly turning to red and his eyes shined along with the beaming light that pierced through the door. He's cute now I kinda like to tease him.

I gave him a little smile. "Thanks, for everything." I said and he gave me a large smile showing a little of his gums. 

"Sure, no problem." He said giving me a thumbs up. I chuckled and walked to the door. He followed me out.

I feel so relieved that Link is here. I smiled at the thought of him and immediately took off the smile because I don't want him notice how relieved I am with him.

Once I stepped outside I saw the monsters lying on the floor dead. I got a lot of questions in mind but right now all I can think is to put Laura in safety.

Link walked beside me and we both went to Zero who is at the bush lying there with Laura on his torso.

I jogged to her and kneel down. I put my hands on her head to her face caressing it. My heart throbbed as I touched her bruise and wounded body.

Her chest coming up and down noticing her breathing calmly. I hugged her lovingly. "I'm sorry if I make you wait for so long." I said sadly. 

My eyes widened as I felt a hand hugging me slowly. "It's okay, Xena." I felt her warm enthusiastic weak voice and I looked at Laura. 

Her Ocean blue eyes crashed to my eyes and I smiled at her. "I knew you will come for me." She said as her tears fell down as she hugged me tightly. 

I felt her shaking and she released her hands from me. I looked at her seeing her scared eyes. She is looking at Medusa who suddenly popped on my shoulders.

"Ahhhhh!" She screamed and we all got startled. She bumped into Zero when she jumped. She looked at him and she scream again running away from him. 

Viel stopped her as he blocked the way flapping his large black wings. She screamed again and ran back but she bumped at Link and she hugged him tightly not knowing it was him.

"Xena! Please get me out of here!" She screamed looking at the others and Link smirked. Laura then looked at Link then paused. I was beginning to worry because I know Link when he interacts with others.

She immediately lets go of Link and ran fast to me with her face red. She took my hands. Her eyes looked at me with excitement. "Damn sis is that yo Boyfriend?" She whispered. 

I was startled and looked at Link who looked at me smirking with amusement in his eyes. My face burned and I looked back at Laura.

I shook my head and she looked at me with disapproval. "Hmmmmmm?" She said as her eyes sparkled. 

I ignored her and hugged her. "I'm glad your back, Bacon head." I said and I felt her hugged me back. "Me to, sis." 

I released her. "Ok now let's go, we have to treat your wounds." I said and she nodded at me. I stood up and slowly pulled her up.
