Chapter 29

It's been two hours since we left the mansion along with my friends. The road was still dark and all we can rely on was the road ahead of us.

We haven't sense any danger along the road but I felt my hands numb since we drove about hours. "Xena you alright?" I heard Link say through the communicator of my helmet.

"Yeah it's just my hands are getting numb. Maybe we should rest a bit?" I said and I heard them both say "Okay."

We drove at the side of the road. As we are there we all hop down from our motors and both guys sat at the ground while I open the seat of my motor and took out some bottle of water and a sandwich and gave it to them.

"Thank you." Link said and Caleb smiled at me. "That's my little cupcake always ready for war on our stomach." He said and I rolled my eyes while smirking. "Yeah sure keep that up and I won't make you one anymore." I said with a grin and he had his disappointed look.

"Ohh please no! Then what do you want to be called so just you can make me one again?" Caleb asked and I laughed. "Ohh haha bro you never change!" I said while laughing. I stopped as I looked at Link with a furious look on his face. He's not looking at me but he's looking at the other side of the road.

I looked at where he's staring and my eyes went wide as we saw silver empty eyes looking at us. It was Balor looking menacingly at us.

He looked at Link but remove his gaze and put it on me and sneered. "Well I'd never expect that you  come back to me already." He said and threw a wood at me but before it hit me Link sliced it fast and it went sideways.

Balor smirked looking at us. Link was in front of me and I felt his dark red aura coming out. I touched his back. Once he felt that his aura came down. "Don't lose your mind Link not right now." I said when I remembered him at the cave with his uncontrollable power.

He looked at me with his grey eyes and nodded. "Yeah I won't." He said and I heard Calebs gun shot as he aimed for Balor and it shot his face. Link ran to his Balor and swung his sword to him and he immediately protected himself with the dark smoke.

I called Caleb and he looked at me in confusion. I held out my hand and held his gun. I command my power to transfer a little to his gun. His gun slowly turn into large blue steaming machine gun. It had unlimited ammo. I smirked at Calebs shocked face and pulled out chains from my hands along with the large dagger.

I signaled Link to stay away and he did as I ran to Balor and sliced his shoulders. Blood splatter to my face. I looked at him with a grin. I was startled when he looked at me with an expressionless face. It didn't affect him? I immediately kicked him away from me as I spin I took my dagger and shot him in the head but again it didn't work.

Once he faced me with a smirk he swing his sword to me before it touched me he was bombed and I dodged it and cartwheeled back. I look at Caleb and he smiled at me.

"I got you cupcake." He said and I smirked and nodded. The smoke covered Balor and suddenly lunged at us ready to swing his sword but was stopped as Link swing his and that made Balor back away.

Link look at me and I nodded. I ran to Balor and he swing his sword to me but I slid at his side and grabbed his shoulders and twist it. He let go of his sword and looked at me with a questioning look.

Once he took his gaze away from Link. It took advantage that Link strike his chest. Links sword pierced through and I let go of him. Link immediately took the sword up and it sliced through his shoulders. Finally Caleb bombed Balor three times and it send a hole through the ground.

Me and Link backed away and looked at each other
And back at the smoke. We all became silent once we stared at the smoke. When it was slowly fading our eyes widened once we saw he's not there.
