Chapter 24

Link's POV
This man in front of me right now is the one who destroyed the whole kingdom only to find his nemesis.

His raging eyes looked at me in disgust. His eyes were still the same look that gaze upon me since I was a child.

This man....Was my father. "So you have taken the side of our enemy." He said as he kept his disgust face.

"It's none of your business of who I want to cling to. Father." I said with a serious tone.

"What do you want?" I said. This man doesn't come here for no reason. Although I already know the answer I still want to know his reason of return.

"Isn't it obvious? To have revenge. By eliminating his daughter in front of his lair." He said as he shuffled his dark magic.

My body boiled as he said that. "You will never lay a hand on her." I said with my eyes rage.

"Ohh so now you have been involve with her? You never touched her huh? I heard many things from this lady here that she is an infinite virgin. Poor you." He said as he looked at the girl beside her.

I glance at the girl beside him and she has a very frightened expression on her face. I know my father and he always threaten somebody just to continue his nasty plan.

I furrowed my eyes at my father. "I don't care what your talking about. But I will not let you kill another precious person to me." I pulled my dark green sword and raise it at him.

"You really did not change son. You are like your mother she fights who she wants to protect but look at her now. She's dead because of a mere human child like you." He said as he gripped his hand. Dark grey smoke begun to steam on his hands.

I focused and look at his dead silver eyes. He crouched and suddenly had a full force on his feet. My eyes went wide as he accelerated in front of me.

I quickly protect myself with my sword. He punch my sword and I flew away from him and landed on my feet. The ground dig as I landed on it.

I balance myself by piercing the sword on the ground causing the force to stop. He's very strong. My feet burn because of that cause.

I heard him scream and I saw him flying to me. I jumped away from him. His hand punch the ground and it dig deep.

I quickly sprint back to him and swing my sword at his torso. But his hand blocked it. The sword did not dig to his skin because of the dark grey smoke swirling on his hand.

He smiled menacingly at me and he punch my stomach. I felt my inside flattened by his force. I groaned in pain and I flew away from him.

I coughed blood so hard and I felt my stomach hurt. I groan in pain. Sh*t. I looked at him as he slowly approached me.

He crouch down and look at me with his pitied eyes. "Your pathetic. You can't even beat your own father." He said smirking at me.

I found myself laughing at him and coughed a little blood. I look at him smiling. His face was confused.

"Why are you laughing?" He said with his dark tone. "You know father. You talk too loud." I said and quickly swing my sword at him and he avoided it.

I was not aiming for him and I quickly pierced my sword at the ground. The ground break in half and black thorns wrapped him and dragged him to the ground. 

"This will not hold me longer son!" He shouted. I know to myself that in a minute he will break free.

Right now I just have to give him a little hard time and I will escape. At this moment I'm glad that I came for Xena at the right time.
