Chapter 8

Zero ran out from the deep cave and was confronted by his parent. The parent roared at us and it start to walk at us. Zero roared and he lunged at his parent. I quickly stopped him by pulling his hair because the moment he attack he might get hurt including me and Link.

Gladly he immediately understood what I was doing in order for him to stop. The parent ran at us, I took my bloody rose and point it at the monster. But when I was going to shoot Link already took his first shot in the monsters head.

I glared at him saying that 'that's my shot!' look. He just sneered at me and I rolled my eyes at him. He glared at the monster again and here I thought he already killed it. I look at the monster and it got a lot of angry and it rapidly ran at us. My eyes widen when Link started to murmur something and hops down out of Zero. He stood front of us and held his hand through the air. Again, he is talking to himself with an unknown language.

My eyes widen in shock as his aura grew dark and a large pentagram released in his hands. Dark red atmosphere begins to wrap his arms and he closed his eyes. When he opened it the dark red aura shot at the monster and it roared out of pain.

Zero begins to back out he seemed terrified by the side of Link. I caress his neck showing that its okay and he didn't look at them. I put my gaze on him and I'm surprised that he looked calm by this.

The monster fell down with its burned body and blank eyes, dead. I looked at Link and he looked at me with his glowing silver eyes and he begin walking towards me and Zero. Zero backed out and I noticed that he is scared so I put my hands up to remind Link to stay in his place and he listened to me as he saw Zero terrified at him.

His eyes fell and it flickered back into the calm silver eyes that I've known before. I hopped down from Zero and caress his face. "It's okay... He won't hurt you." I said and put my forehead into his.

I looked at Link and I saw sadness in his eyes. I told Zero to wait and he listened to me. I walked forward to Link and he just put his head down. When I got in front of him he still put his head down.

"Hey." I said calm and He slowly looked up at me. "Hey..." He said and look away from me. "We should get back. It's getting dark your brother will worry." I said and pat his shoulders. I walk back to Zero's direction he also followed. Zero shivered and I quickly caress him saying that's its okay and gladly he always listens fast. I hopped on Zero's back and Link stayed down.

"Come on,Link." I said and pulled my hand out. He sighed and nodded. He took my hand and hopped on Zero's back. I pat Zero's neck "Let's go." Zero was about to ran out but Link pulled his hair and he stopped. "We have to eliminate these eggs first so they will not cause trouble anymore." He said and I nodded at him.

He murmured something and pulled his hand out. Fire came out from it, he lit the whole cave on fire. I pat Zero and he quickly dashed out of the cave. I noticed Link closed his eyes and put his head on my shoulders. He looked tired, I stopped Zero and he noticed that Link fell asleep. I struggled to place Link at his right place my eyes widened when suddenly, veins hugged him. i put my dagger out but I noticed that the veins were attached to Zero. I looked at him and he gave me a comforting look as if he is saying that "don't worry I got this." look.

I looked at Link behind me and I noticed the veins formed into a safe seat. The veins was like a seat belt but comforting. I smiled and Zero and he licked my cheeks. My eyes widened as I felt a large vein around my waist as if keeping me buckled up.

"You're amazing Zero." I smiled at him and he licked me again. "Now come on let's take this baby back to its mother." I said and Zero chuckled in his beast voice. He really understands me even though he's different from me. I smiled by the thought of it.
