Chapter 10

Link's POV

I woke up from the large couch that is beside the bed. I stood up and stretched my body. I got a little exhausted yesterday because I have used too much of my power but it payed off because of Xena's smile. Its kinda rare to see her smile. 

I looked at Xena who is sleeping on the bed. She's beautiful, I smiled at the thought of it. I walked to the window and pulled the curtains off to have light in the room. I stretched my arms again and heard the bed creaked behind me. I look back and saw Xena looked away from me, I smirked. She's fantasizing my body again. She's currently doing that since the day we met but I got really used to it.

"Morning." I said to her and she looked at me. "Yeah, morning." She said and I sensed that she's embarrassed. I just smirked and just watched her caressing Zero's head. She looked at me with an innocent look. "What?" she asked curiously. 

"Nothing." I said and walked towards to the door. I stopped because my stomach grumbled quietly. I looked at Xena and asked. "Ohh yeah what do you want for breakfast?" She stood up and walked my front. "I'll cook you sit." She said and I smirked. She is demanding but I'll get used to it. She walked downstairs and I followed her and she's looking for something. Ohh yeah I didn't tell her where I put the food.

"If your looking for the food, I already put them in the fridge." She looked at me her eyebrows raised. "And where did you find the time to organize these stuff?" She asked and I smirked as I got an Idea. I walk close to her and she just stood there, we are close and I leaned a little. 

"Well its rude to wake a lady from their beauty sleep so I figured that I will organize these stuff." I said and stayed there. She put her gaze away from me and walked to the fridge and start to cook. 

She told me to sit and wait so I did it but when I saw her struggling to chop the bacon I told her that I will help. We both helped each other and she cooked. When we finished I sat on the chair and she served the food. We both ate silent and I saw her eyes widened while she's looking up.  

I looked at the direction where she's looking and saw Zero with his scowled face. "Eating with my owner alone?" He said and I smirked and went back eating. Xena called Zero and he immediately ran downstairs. Xena stood up and walked to the fridge. I looked at Zero who is beside me. "What, are you jealous?" I said to him through my head and he frowned. "You stay away from her, you monster." He scowled. "Ohh don't worry I won't take her from you. Not yet." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"What are you both doing?" Xena break in and we both looked at her. "You better not tell her that we can communicate." Zero said seriously. "I don't plan t-" I was interrupted by her. 

"What are you both doing!?" She shouted and we both flinched. I didn't know that she is short tempered. I have to find a way to pass this through. "We are just playing." I said boringly so she will not suspect. I got a little relieved when she looked at Zero. "Let's just go back eating." I said to Zero and gladly he followed. We just ignored each other and went back eating.

Time pass and my eyes widened when I saw Xena stood up and put her plate on the sink. She stomped upstairs and didn't came back. Zero followed her upstairs while I put my plate on the sink. I walk to the living room and took my blade then got back to the kitchen. 

I'm not really comfortable cleaning my weapons on the living room because Xena will kill me. She actually cleaned this last night before she slept. She really like to keep a house presented even if we don't have visitors.I took the sharpening stone from the cabinet and start to sharpen my sword...

I turned my head as I heard footsteps coming down from the stairs and I saw Xena. My eyes awed at the sight of the clothes she's wearing. I never thought she would wear it but it suits her. I'm happy that she wore it.
