Chapter 19

"Xena's POV"

I woke up as soon as a beam reflected on my eyes as it is still shut. I opened my eyes and groaned as I felt my body and head aching.

I caress my head and when it felt better I put it down. I was surprised when I touched a warm hand beside me.

I looked at my side and saw Laura who is sitting on the floor and her other body on the bed, sleeping.

I looked at my body and my clothes was changed and I was wondering who changed me. I was wearing one of Link's clothes. Is it him? My face begun to burn.

My thoughts begun to exchange when I looked at Laura. Ohh Laura changed my clothes. I'm glad.

 I smiled by the thought that she is here with me the whole time, waiting for me to wake up.

I pulled my hands up and caressed her head. The smile on my face didn't worn off. 

I'm glad that she is fine, she was really took cared off by them. I paused as my hands when Laura moved. 

Her ocean blue eyes slowly opened to meet mine. She greeted me with a wide smile and hopped to me and hugged me.

I heard her sobbing and tears touched my skin. I pat her head to comfort her then she hugged me even tighter.

"I...I thought you were gonna-...Xena I felt scared." She said with her voice cracking. 

My heart begun to hurt as I felt her sadness and worry cover her. I continued to pat her head.

"Shh. I'm already here. I'm okay so you don't have to worry." I said and I heard her sobbing became louder.

"I missed you Xena." She said and I smiled at her back. "I missed you more, bacon head."

She let's go of me and walk out of the bed. She wiped her tears off and giving me a wide smile. Her eyes were swollen. 

"Your ugly when you cry." I said chuckling. She pouted. "Ohh shut up!" She shouted and smiled. 

She turned around and walk straight to the table which is in front of me. She set the table beside me and then took the food on the other table. 

She set it on the table and my eyes dilate as soon as I saw the foods. A roast turkey, milk,eggs and of coarse bacon.

When she finished she took the chair and put it in front of me she sat their and she looked at me.

"Ok let's eat!" She said and I laughed her face of hunger always makes me smile. When I cook for her she always come around running on the hallway and once I turned she was already on the table waiting. I kind of missed that.

"Hey Xena don't just lay there! Sit and eat!" She said and I nodded at her and gave her a smirk.

When I pulled myself up my body begun to ache and I flinched. I saw Laura's worried expression and I just signaled her that I'm fine and gave her a smile.

I sat on my bed and faced Laura. She provided me a plate. I looked at her. "Aren't you gonna eat?" I said and she raised her eyebrows.

"Who said I'm not gonna eat?" She said and she took the plate where all the bacon are and begun to dig in.

I smirked. Yeah she will not miss any food gatherings even now when bacon is served. 

I took the spoon and fork and begun to dig in. The food is delicious. Laura sneered at me and I gave her a question look.

"What?" I asked her and she sneered more. "Is it delicious?" She said and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Yeah and why do you ask? Is there something on my food that you put on?" I asked and she looked at me with her eyes wide.
