Chapter 14

Lose me? Did something want me? Or to kill me? I gave the snake a questionable look with my eyes full of curiosity. "Your mother is scared that someday they will take you away from her and from your family.

"But what do yo-" I was interrupted as the snake wrapped her tail on my mouth telling me to stop. "There'ss no need to be rush Xssena, soon you will find it by yoursself." It said as I nodded and it released its tail. 

"Now have some resst and by tomorrow we'll sstart." It said as it looked at me. "Yeah, ok goodnight." I said and slowly closed my eyes. I felt the snake wrapped around my neck keeping me warm. We both fell into deep sleep...

I heard the birds chirping outside and I peeked. Beaming light shined through my eyes and I slowly opened it to see the green forest. I sat on my place and I stretched my body. I was surprised by the apples that is on my side. I looked at the snake on my neck and I saw it still sleeping. 

My stomach suddenly grumbled but I don't like to eat the apples because maybe someone gave it to me to poison me. Suddenly I heard a bush rustling. I quickly took my gun and point it straight to the bush.

I covered the snake with my hair because its still sleeping. I walked out of the cave and slowly walked to the bush. I stopped my steps as I am a little near to it. I pushed the bush away and ready to shoot but I saw no one there.

 I put my gun down and begun to walk back but a hand reached for my shoulder and pulled me. I quickly point my gun to that person but I put it down as soon as I saw Link in front of me.

"Why did you leave?" He said and my heart suddenly raised. I looked at him with a straight face. "Because I don't want to hurt anybody." I said and he put his face closer to mine. "It hurts that you don't trust me." He said with a bothered expression.

"Because I don't. Look Link you nearly died back there and I don't want that to happen again." I said as I pushed him away from me. "I didn't... but you have to tell me what happened to you. Did you lost control again?" He said and I got a little frustrated.

Suddenly I felt the snake move and it popped out of my hair. "Yess, she losst control and I was the reason why she hass control again and alsso the reassson why she left." It said and Link suddenly rush to me and I think he's gonna hurt the snake. 

I catch his hand to stop him and looked at him giving him a bad look. "Get your hands off." I said and he gave me a questionable look. "I won't harm it because I have the same situation as you do." He said and I gave him a surprised look.

"Wait you have one too?" I asked and he nodded as he whistled at the sky. I got surprised when I saw a large hawk coming to our way. It landed on Link's shoulders. I looked at its Green eyes and its very beautiful.

"Hi Xena its nice to meet you." It said as it looked at me. "My name is Viel." He said and I nodded at him. "Why didn't you tell me in the first place?" I said with a sarcastic face. "Because I knew that you will find it by yourself." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Its kinda disappointing that you didn't ate the apples that Viel had picked for you." Link said and I look at Viel who is staring at me completely. "Well that's because she thought that its poisonous she really didn't know who gave it so its not that smart to eat something that is already on the ground." The snake said and I just nodded. "Thanks" I whispered to it and gave me a smile.

"Ohh is that so? You can eat it now because you already know who gave it to you." Link said and I smiled a little. "You should smile, it suits you." He said and I felt my face burning up. "Aww shut up." I said as I walked away from him.

I saw the snake on my face giving me a devil smile. "What?" I said and it continued to smile. "You know you two sssuit each oth-" It said but I interrupted it. "Can you please not continue it?" I said and It laughed.
