Chapter 21

"You are mine now and mine only." My mind kept thinking of the word that he told me. My eyes stared at his shining silver eyes as he stared back at mine.

I can feel softness through his gaze as he locked his eyes onto me. He cupped my face and kissed my cheek. 

I felt an electric sting from my cheek to my body. I felt hot by the reaction he gave me. 

He moved back and released his hands from my cheek and stood up. It send shivers through my spine.

 His eyes were still locked to me.

I felt my face burning up as I saw his face in amusement. "Your face is red are you okay?" He said as he tried to put his hands to my face.

But before it lands on my face I smack it away from me. I stared at him with my eyes wide when I notice that my body reacted on itself.

His eyes stared at me. "Don't tell me it's your first kiss." He said and I pulled my gaze away from him.

I felt embarrassed. I looked down as my face burned up. I never felt embarrassed in my entire life.

My eyes went wide when he suddenly pulled my chin up and looked at me happily. Why is he smiling? I thought he's gonna burst out.

"Why are you smiling aren't you gonna laugh?" I said and he raised his eyebrows at me. 

"Why should I laugh when I got lucky to be your first kiss?" He said and I smiled a little.

"Okay. So.... Are we like dating now?" I asked shyly and he smirked then stared at me with his amused face.

Damn I'm so stupid! What am I saying! It's so freaking embarrassing...

"It depends if you want to." He said and I gave him an 'oh' expression. It is really my first time in a relationship. I don't have that much experience. 

But some part of me is quite happy that he said that. He really respects me and that is a point for him.

I looked at him and he looked at the moon. His grey eyes were reflecting and I can't stop looking at it. It's just breathtaking.

 I looked at the moon and suddenly my head hurt badly. I groaned as I felt it. Link held my shoulders comforting me.

I looked at the moon and next thing I know I was in the hands of a person. He was running as he held me on his hands.

I heard a roar and I knew that we were chased. But who is he? I looked at him and his face is blurry.

He mumbled something and I felt my consciousness gain. "Xena! Are you okay!?" I heard Link with his worried voice. 

I was on the ground and his hands were supporting my back. "Xena. Don't cry." He said and I raised my eyebrow.

I touched my eyes and I felt a tear coming out of it. I sat directly as I wipe my tears off. Why am I crying?

Link hugged me. "Xena. Are you okay? Tell me." He said and I slowly hugged him back. I felt comfortable with him. 

"Yeah Link i'm fine." I said and he let me go and sighed. "Ahh" I felt my head hurt again and put my hands caressing it. Gladly it didn't hurt like before.

Link looked at me worried. My eyes went wide as he carried me to bed and put the blankets on me.

He walked away from me and took water from the table. "Here." He said as he gave me the water.

"Thanks." I said and drank the water. He took the water as I was done and put it back on the table.

"Link. You should rest. I'm fine now so don't worry." I said and he looked at me with his worried expression.
