Flash Forward...

The Ferris Wheel Pt. 2

"You dressed a little brighter than usual today... I like it." Chan Woo looked away blushing. Jin Seo smiled brightly. She had known they were going to an amusement park today so she figured rather than her black on black looks she would throw a little pop of color in. She had on ripped light-denim boyfriend jeans, a mint green T-shirt with a pastel pink cardigan on over it, and her light grey sneakers. She had done a light pink gloss and brown eyeliner. She looked softer today than her normal street wear which gave her a child-like glow that went along well with her energy. 

"Thank you! I don't normally wear this kind of stuff but since we were coming here to the park I thought it would be more appropriate!" Jin Seo and Chan Woo still had their hands together. While she was shocked at first by Chan Woo's sudden contact as he led her from game to game she had grown rather comfortable with it. She felt natural walking next to him, he was even kind enough to match his pace to hers so she wasn't scrambling to keep up with him. As they were walking, a rowdy bunch of kids rode past on their skateboards, Chan Woo saw one heading straight towards Jin Seo and pulled her into his chest and away from a collision. He wrapped his arms around her and Jin Seo had her head tucked into his chest. The skateboarder had passed by quickly but Chan Woo was reluctant to let Jin Seo out of his embrace. He held on for a few more moments before releasing her, Jin Seo loosened her grip on his shirt and looked with wide eyes after the skateboarder. Chan Woo bent to eye level with her and held her head in his hands, checking her over.

"Are you alright? You didn't get hurt right?" The look of concern in his eyes scanned across her face.

"I-I'm fine, thank you for saving me..." Jin Seo blushed and looked down at her feet. Chan Woo's face was extremely close to hers and she could still smell his cologne from their embrace moments ago. Chan Woo patted her hair gently, and took her hand back into his.

"Why don't we get something to eat? Are you hungry?" He asked. Jin Seo nodded her head vigorously and was the one to drag Chan Woo behind her as she made her way to a food stall. Down the walkway the interaction had been spotted by a few people. Go Eun and Ji Won, who had stopped to play games after going on the rides, were eyeing each other after watching the moment. Han Bin who had been walking along with Jun Hoe had stopped dead in his tracks a few feet away from where Chan Woo and Jin Seo just stood. The sight of her in his young friends arms didn't just incite jealousy, he was terribly angry that Jin Seo had even looked at another boy. 

Ji Won and Go Eun  played a few games until Ji Won was successful in winning her the giant sloth that she so desperately wanted. He handed it to her and his smile grew wider as she cheered joyfully and hugged it. 

"You have to keep that around to remind you of me when I'm not there!" He said, pulling Go Eun into his arms, the stuffed sloth stuck between their bodies.

"Well, looking at it how could I forget you! You look just like it!" She giggled and ducked out from his arms and ran as he chased after her.

"I don't look anything like a sloth! Get back here!" Ji Won yelled, it didn't take him long to catch her, as he didn't have a giant stuffed animal hindering his steps. He grabbed Go Eun by the waist and whipped her around to face him, this time their bodies were much closer as the sloth hung at Go Eun's side. Ji Won looked at Go Eun, he was having a hard time understanding why someone so pretty and smart would be at an amusement park goofing off with him. Go Eun had gotten a little more spunky since being with Ji Won and hanging out with her new group of friends. Building up a little courage she quickly swooped in and gave Ji Won a kiss on the cheek. His cheeks lit up bright pink and his eyes widened as he stared at her.

"Can we go on the Ferris Wheel now? The lights are starting to come on!" As the sun had started to go down since their time there the lights of the amusement park began to click on slowly and the Ferris Wheel was fully lit in front of them. Ji Won smiled and grabbed Go Eun by the hand and led her through the crowd to the line.
