Go Eun hadn't planned on staying the night at Jun Hoe's. They had stayed up until the early hours of the morning talking on the couch, Jun Hoe hadn't realized Go Eun had fallen asleep on his shoulder while he continued telling her the story of falling in love with her. It was when the clock read 3:27 a.m. that the two could be seen sound asleep together on the couch. Go Eun with her arms wrapped around Jun Hoe's waist, her head resting on his shoulder and Jun Hoe holding her close while he snored quietly with his head leaned back against the coach.
The sound of Jun Hoe's text notification woke them that morning. Sun light filtered through the curtains into Go Eun's eyes as she sleepily blinked them open. She went to lift herself from the awkward position her body lay in only to be restricted by Jun Hoe's arms. Go Eun tried to pry them from around her only to be pulled closer by the sleeping boy. Go Eun smiled, ignoring the ache in her stiff body, she looked up at Jun Hoe, examining the sharp angle of his jaw and the soft curve of his cheeks. Her small hand came up to cup his cheek. Go Eun smiled as she slapped Jun Hoe awake.
"Lemme go, I need to stretch." Go Eun smirked as Jun Hoe gasped awake, his arms releasing her and shooting up to his face where his cheek stung from the hit. Go Eun stood up, her arms raising above her head and her spine slowly morphing back into it's original length. "Ah, that feels better... Sorry... I just needed to get up..." Go Eun apologized, pulling out the puppy dog eyes in order to achieve forgiveness faster. Jun Hoe still sat shocked at his abrupt awakening, his wide eyes fixed on empty space as he struggled to grasp what had happened.
Go Eun pouted and sat close to him, her small hand laying over his larger one on his cheek. "I'm sorrrrryyyyyy!" She whined, secretly enjoying the cute act she was putting on. Jun Hoe finally turned to her, the shock fading and he smiled at her adorable face.
"Ah, I just can't help but keep you close to me even when I'm asleep." Jun Hoe grinned wider as Go Eun's eyebrows raised and a small smile graced her lips. Jun Hoe took the chance while she looked away shyly and leaned in quickly, placing a peck on her lips. A first kiss for the first morning waking up together. "I don't know how I'll be able to sleep at night when you leave now that I know what it's like to have you next to me all night."
Go Eun's cheeks had lit up bright red not only from the surprise kiss but his words too. Her smile had widened and a small giggle left her mouth. She looked up to see Jun Hoe's smiling face, she leaned in just as quickly and returned the small kiss. The room filled with the loud laughter of Jun Hoe, he laid back on the couch his heart swelling with happiness and excitement. Go Eun smiled widely watching the happy boy clutch as his chest, the same happiness and excitement causing butterflies to flutter in her stomach.
"Well, if you can't sleep without me then I'll have to make sure to be there when I can." Go Eun confidently stated. Jun Hoe's eyes widened and he sat up quickly.
"If you could be here as much as I wanted you to, you would never leave." Jun Hoe said with a serious expression, he then smiled widely as he lunged forward and wrapped Go Eun in his arms, bringing her down to lay next to him. Go Eun laughed and wrapped her arms around him, neither of them noticing the buzzing phone on the coffee table.
While Go Eun and Jun Hoe were happily intertwined on his couch, the SUV full of six boys parked on the street in front of his apartment building grew increasingly more annoyed at the lack of phone answering on his end. Six hands gathered in a circle for a deciding game of rock, paper, scissors. The loser had to go get Jun Hoe so they could finally leave.
Loud steps echoed up the stairwell to announce the arrival of the unlucky loser. As he approached Jun Hoe's apartment door down the hallway he let out a loud sigh.
Ji Won brought his fist up and knocked on the door, removing his hand to run it through his hair. It had been awhile since he had seen Jun Hoe, it had been a while since all seven of them had been able to get together, but it was always awkward for him and Jun Hoe after the club incident. Jun Hoe had gone out with Go Eun and the others without so much as a sympathetic glance for Ji Won that night.
