6 months later...

Go Eun lay asleep on the couch, papers and textbooks strewn around her unconscious form. She had made it through her first half of her third year and now in the second semester her lack of sleep had caught up to her. No matter how hard she had fought her eyelids, determined to finish reading the chapter assigned, she had lost and the chapter ended up being her pillow. As her eyes had closed, her mind relaxed, and she fell into a heavy doze. Her subconscious taking over to fill her head with relaxing images.

Sloths creeping along tree branches. Opening a door to have a happy cat welcome her home. Jin Seo laughing as Jun Hoe tripped on the sidewalk... Jun Hoe... JUN HOE.

Go Eun's eye's snapped open as the dream lured her into a realization. She wiped the drool from her chin as she sat up and grimaced looking at the damp page of her book. Go Eun shook her head, shaking away the tired and focusing on one thought. Jun Hoe. She hadn't seen much of him since they started their third year. She was busy on weekdays with classes and the hospital while her weekends were taken away by homework. It was the same for him, when he wasn't at school he was at his law firm or sleeping, sometimes sleeping at his law firm.

It had been six months since he confessed to her and told her to take her time, to reclaim and rebuild. Over the six months her mind had been so busy with all the tasks that took up her time that she hadn't been able to think about it. Go Eun was always on the run, running to work, running to class, running while eating; it was exhausting so when she did get a moment to breathe her mind fuzzed over, unable to think of anything except the next impending sprint.

Go Eun sat thinking, her gaze on the TV that played a furniture commercial, but her mind wasn't thinking about dining tables or fights in clubs. Her mind was thinking about sitting in a dorm room listening to his presentation story, the way he smiled when he finally understood what he was studying, how he always put up a reluctant act when she asked him to dance with her but always ended up being the most enthusiastic about it. Go Eun thought about her hand in his, the gentle curves of his smile, the devotion in his eyes that gazed deeply into hers.

No, Go Eun didn't pay any attention to the dining tables that flashed on the screen, because Go Eun was only thinking of one thing as she stood up from the couch. I'm ready.

~ Jun Hoe's apartment ~

Jun Hoe sat on his couch, his head was thrown back as he stared at the ceiling. He had just finished his homework and his brain had decided to shut down, desperately in need of a rest. Third year was kicking his butt, his mind was so full of protocol's and law sections that he swore if he looked at one more textbook his eyes would cross and he'd collapse dead on the spot.

When the door of his apartment shook from the harsh knocks on it he considered not getting it. He wasn't sure if he would be able to effectively communicate with another human being at the moment. Jun Hoe finally stood, his tall figure slouched as he shuffled to the door. His posture straightened when he opened the door to see who it was. Go Eun.

Go Eun flung her arms around Jun Hoe's neck, pulling her body as close to his as possible, she rested her head on his shoulder, her breath tickling his neck. Jun Hoe instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her against him.

"I'm ready. I've had my time, I've healed and reclaimed and rebuilt and I'm ready. I'm ready to hear everything Jun Hoe, so please... tell me everything." Go Eun's voice shook nervously, knowing he said he would wait she was nervous to know if he had.

Jun Hoe's chuckle shook both of their bodies, one of his hands came up to cradle the back of her head and he tightened his grip on her.

"Let's sit down then... this might take awhile, I've got a lot to tell." Jun Hoe released Go Eun, closed the door and led her to sit on his couch.

Jun Hoe took a deep breath and smiled at Go Eun.

 "Where should I begin?"

To Be Continued...

Sorry it's taken me awhile to update, I've had mad writers block and honestly wasn't sure how this chapter would turn out. Thank you for understanding and sorry for such a poo chapter. :(
