Six months later...
"Why do you have so much stuff, babe?" Ji Won complained as he shuffled through the front door of Go Eun's new apartment with two cardboard boxes stacked in his hands. "Jin Seo didn't even have to ask for extra help to move into Han Bin's house!"
Go Eun stopped unpacking the box she had in front of her for a moment to shoot a blank glare at Ji Won. "Ji Won... She moved into a fully furnished house... She only had to bring her clothes!" Go Eun tossed a pillow at Ji Won as he set down the boxes on her kitchen counter.
"So why didn't you just move into my apartment with me then? It would have made this a lot easier... Plus we've been together longer..." Ji Won sat down next to Go Eun on the floor, leaning his head on her shoulder and pouting. Go Eun laughed.
"Ji Won, we have been together longer, and I love coming over and staying with you... But I want to come home to a dining table. How about you get a dining table and we'll have this discussion again." Go Eun went back to unpacking her box while Ji Won groaned. He glanced off towards her kitchen where the box for her new dining table sat, waiting to be assembled. Go Eun sighed as Ji Won laid his head in her lap, keeping her from unpacking. She looked down at the boy who held her heart. He was giving her puppy dog eyes and a cheeky smile. "Why don't you go assemble the table, it'll give you some practice for when you get one in the future." Ji Won's smile fell and he went back to pouting, still looking at Go Eun.
"What if I never get a table?" He asked, sitting up and pulling Go Eun into his lap. "What if I don't want a dining table?" Ji Won hugged Go Eun close, "Will you leave me if I don't?" He mumbled into her neck.
"No, you'll just move in here." Go Eun stated simply. Ji Won shot his face up, staring into her eyes. He smiled and placed a kiss on her lips. He wrapped his hand around the back of her head and pulled her farther into his embrace, their lips never leaving each other.
"Is that what we're like?" A loud voice came from the front door. Go Eun jumped back from Ji Won and turned to see Jin Seo and Han Bin standing in the entry way with boxes. Jin Seo busted into laughter at Go Eun's embarrassed face, her ears and cheeks had lit up and she was covering her mouth with her hand. "Oh my god! That's hilarious, ohhhhh you two are so adorable!" Jin Seo set down her boxes and ran over to Go Eun, she patted her head, still giggling. "So cute!" Jin Seo smiled, a growl came from her stomach that caused her face to fall... Another growl replied from her friend sitting in front of her and both of them fell into another fit of laughter.
Ji Won and Han Bin stared at each other as the two girls laid on the floor laughing. "Uh, why don't you guys keep unpacking these boxes and we will go grab some food for you." Han Bin said. Jin Seo and Go Eun sat up smiling.
"That's perfect! Ooooooo we can gossip while their out!" Jin Seo lightly elbowed Go Eun in the side. Her friend gave her a smirk.
"Oh, do I have stuff to tell you!" Go Eun laughed as Ji Won scoffed and ruffled her hair. Han Bin and Ji Won walked out, promising to bring back all sorts of food that the girls asked for. The girls sat together in Go Eun's living room, each with a box in front of them. As they unpacked Go Eun struggled to bring up what had been bothering her since the weekend she had helped take Jin Seo's stuff over to Han Bins.
"Hey... I know I already asked you this... I just... I'm worried and are you sure about moving in with him?" Go Eun finally blurted out. She stared at her hands, she didn't like to pester Jin Seo about her decisions but she had a nagging feeling that wouldn't leave her alone about this. A huge sigh came from Jin Seo.
"I know you're worried. A lot of you are... My parents, my little brother... Chan Woo... Even Jin Hwan and Yoon Hyung sat me down to make sure I was really clear about what I was getting myself into, and I am. I understand that Han Bin and I have only been together for about a year and a half, but... Things have been really great between us." Jin Seo looked over at Go Eun, "I really love him, and I know he loves me too. We tested the waters out over Christmas break and after that it was practically unbearable to have to go back to the dorms... I know you think I'm foolish to not have my own place, but I trust this feeling I have... Everything's going to turn out fine!" Jin Seo smiled and patted Go Eun on the knee. Go Eun took a deep breath and returned her smile, even if all the feeling wasn't there, Go Eun couldn't bear to say anything against what made Jin Seo happy.
"Well... just always know I have an extra room that has your name on it if need be... Also I have a dining table!" Go Eun practically shouted that last part.
"Yeah... What the hell is this dining table nonsense that you and Ji Won keep arguing about?" Jin Seo gave Go Eun a bewildered look.
"THAT ANIMAL DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING DINING TABLE!" Go Eun yelled. Her eyes lighting up with fire.
"What the fuck?" Jin Seo replied.
"I KEEP TELLING HIM TO GET ONE! I EVEN OFFERED TO BUY HIM ONE! HE KEEPS REFUSING, SAYING A DINING TABLE IS POINTLESS WHEN HE CAN EAT AT THE COUNTER, OH I SWEAR I'M GOING TO KILL HIM ONE OF THESE DAYS OVER IT!" Go Eun took a deep breath at the end of her rant and gently sat down the picture frame she had been waving around while she yelled. Jin Seo was on the verge of tears she was laughing so much.
"Oh my god, that's dumbest thing I've ever heard, who the hell doesn't have a dining table!" She howled, "Oh, well, why don't we put together your new table so we have somewhere to eat when the boys get back?" Jin Seo asked, Go Eun nodded her head in agreement and the two set to work in the kitchen.
~ Half an Hour Later ~
Ji Won and Han Bin walked into the apartment with bags of take out. They headed towards the kitchen where the two girls sat proudly at the dining table. Both the boys raised their eyebrows in surprise as they set the food down.
"Did you guys put this together?" Ji Won asked.
"No, we called our other boyfriends to do it. Yes, we put it together! I wanted somewhere for all of us to sit while we ate." Go Eun retorted... The girls had struggled quite a bit to get the table standing, and quite frankly, they weren't entirely sure how long it would stay standing, so she wasn't in the best mood. Ji Won rolled his eyes and sat in the chair next to Go Eun.
~ Four Hours Later ~
After a few hours of unpacking Go Eun insisted that the rest could be finished by her and Ji Won and practically shoved the other two out the door. The couple waved goodbye and exited the apartment building.
Jin Seo locked her hand within Han Bin's and swung their arms as they walked down the street.
"I'm glad that going home means we're going to the same place." Jin Seo said quietly. Her head rested on his shoulder. Han Bin smiled, saying nothing as he continued to lead them to his parked car. Once they got in the car and headed toward their house Han Bin spoke up.
"Going home means I'm going wherever you are." He said, it was a cheesy line and it caused his ears to burn red... But it was true. Jin Seo was his home.
