Chan Woo pulled a shaking Jin Seo into a nearby café as Go Eun began yelling at Ji Won. He guided her to a table and sat her down gently, taking the chair next to her, his arm still around her shoulders. Jin Seo's eyes were glazed with tears as she stared into the empty space across from her. Chan Woo stroked the back of Jin Seo's head and wiped the tears that fell down her cheeks.
"How can they fucking do this to us. How can they just throw us aside like we were nothing... Like we hadn't spent these past few years together. How can they say such things that hurt us." Jin Seo covered her face as she began to cry harder. "It doesn't make sense... I don't understand why this is happening..."
Chan reached over and pulled the sobbing girl into his arms, her head buried in his chest as she continued to cry. He held her tightly, gently cooing that "it's going to be alright." Jin Seo reached her arms and wrapped them tightly around his waist, pulling them even closer together.
"Why does it feel like the whole world is burning down around us..." She choked out. Chan Woo pulled away, taking some napkins from the table and drying Jin Seo's wet face. He held her head between his hands and smiled down at her.
"You've still got me... Even if the world is burning I'll always be here for you... Now lets go back home." Chan Woo grabbed Jin Seo's hand, and lead her out of the café and towards the apartment complex. When they arrived they walked into the girls apartment to a very angry Go Eun chugging a beer in the kitchen. She slammed down the can and looked at her two startled friends.
"We're going out tonight." She practically snarled before she stalked off to her bedroom and the door slammed shut.
Chan Woo and Jin Seo looked at each other with a worried look on there faces.
"Well... I guess we're going out tonight?" Jin Seo said.
"I'll call Jun Hoe." Chan Woo answered.
~ A couple hours later ~
A knock on the apartment door signaled to the girls that Chan Woo and Jun Hoe had arrived. When Jin Seo opened the door the boys were greeted by quite the sight. Jin Seo stood there in tight black jeans, a tight, black, crop top sweater that rode up just enough to peak a little midriff, and black and white sneakers. Her face was void of makeup except for a little mascara, eyeliner, and pink tinted lips. She smiled at the two boys who had to forcibly keep their jaws from dropping to the floor.
"Come in guys." She walked back into the apartment with the two stunned young men following. Go Eun came out of her bedroom and Jun Hoe's ears turned red looking at the tall girl. She had light wash jeans that fit to her proportions perfectly, a white mesh t-shirt underneath a looser pink silk tank top, and white platform sneakers. Go Eun's makeup was similar to Jin Seo's but with the addition of a pink hued eyeshadow and highlighter.
Go Ein smiled at them. "You guys look nice. Are you ready to go?" She asked Jin Seo. The smaller girl nodded and grabbed an oversized jean jacket from the back of a chair.
"Yeah! Let's get going!" She smiled cheerfully and sidled up next to Chan Woo, her self-assigned over seer for the night. She knew sticking close to him she was less likely to get into any trouble.
Chan Woo looked down at her. He was glad he got to spend more time with his best friend now, he didn't like that the reason had caused her so much pain, but he was hoping he could help ease some of that pain by being close by to support her. He really loved this little girl next to him, he had ever since he met her and she was immediately so warm and kind to him. When she had gotten with Han Bin it felt like he was a planet spinning out of control because he lost the center of his universe. As the sun moved father and farther away from him he grew colder. He avoided being around the couple more after Han Bin had cornered him in the kitchen during their freshman year. He knew it hurt Jin Seo that he had grown distant but it hurt to see the love of his life next to someone who wasn't him. He was determined to make up for the years he had left her behind by sticking close to her side from now on. It was okay with him that they were just friends, so long as she was in his life he was happy.
