Goodbye Road

Three months later...

Jin Seo and Go Eun sat at their table in the cafeteria of their workplace, each picking at a salad that piqued no interest from either one of them. Today had been their last day of finals and it had kicked their asses, which they then had to drag to the hospital they interned at. To say they were tired was an understatement. Jin Seo had bags under her eyes that had incited Han Bin to call her a panda for the past week and Go Eun's hair hung in a ponytail that she had put in yesterday. Neither girl was up for much conversation so they just sat there, staring off into space, petting their food with their forks.

"What is wrong with you guys?" A familiar voice called. Both girls groggily turned to the owner and watched as Jin Hwan sat down next to Go Eun. Both of them mumbled a greeting before going back to staring into their salads. "Oh man... It's a good thing school is out for summer because you guys really look like you need a break... Go Eun, when was the last time you showered? Jin Seo, have you washed that shirt recently?" The girls shot a half-hearted glare in his direction before Jin Seo smoothed out her shirt and Go Eun sniffed her hair.

"Alright, I know what's going to help you guys! We're having a party tonight! We'll get the whole gang together, it's been a little bit since we all got to hang out with school and work. We'll have it at my house!" Jin Hwan exclaimed, he had just recently bought a house with his fiancé and since she was out of town he figured there was no better time to have his book-beaten friends over. The girls both nodded in agreement, they had perked up a little bit at the idea of a party. They were both so busy between school and each of their internships they were lucky if they got time to see their boyfriends, and Jin Seo lived with hers! Jin Hwan patted Go Eun on the back and ruffled Jin Seo's hair. "Okay! Tonight, my place, eight o'clock!" He smiled and waved goodbye before exiting the cafeteria.

"Wait... Why was Jin Hwan here at the hospital?" Jin Seo questioned.  

Go Eun shrugged, "He's always so touchy about health, I figure he was the cute fairy the nurses were talking about who was getting a colonoscopy." 

~ 5 Hours Later; 6:00 p.m. ~

Jin Seo stared in the mirror, having not showered in about three days she barely recognized herself freshly showered. She blow dried her hair, curled her bangs up a little so they didn't lie over her eyes, and straightened the rest. Her makeup was light with powder, light brown eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, mascara, and pink tinted lip balm. She put on light-wash skinny jeans, a loose white shirt, a red and black flannel, and black sneakers. Jin Seo felt two warm hands snake their way around her waist as she pulled her shirt on, she smiled as she turned around and looked up at Han Bin. 

Han Bin quickly overtook Jin Seo's mouth with his and pressed his body into hers. His kiss was frantic and he nipped at her lips, asking for permission. Jin Seo opened her mouth to him, he had never been this needy with her before. Usually he was very patient and took things slow, once in awhile something would spark inside of him and he could become the complete opposite, rushed, sloppy, almost animal-like, but he was never like this. This was a desperate kiss, a nervous kiss that was searching for something. When Jin Seo felt his hands start to slide her shirt up she broke away.

"We have to be getting ready for Jin Hwan's party. This can wait til later!" She smiled, gave him another kiss, and went back to getting dressed. Han Bin's face fell dark, he had been hoping maybe he could change her mind to stay in with him tonight... Or maybe he was hoping it would change his mind. 

Once Han Bin was ready they both climbed into his car and headed off towards Jin Hwan's. Jin Seo held his hand while he drove, drawing small patterns on the back of it and giving it a few little kisses here and there. Han Bin stared at her every chance he got, he wanted to lock away every moment he had of her. As they pulled up to the house, Jin Seo smiled.
