[We The Kings- Check Yes Juliet]

After what seemed like hours of Michael dragging me around the town to find a job, we had ended back up in Rosie's café.

My feet felt relieved after I took a seat on the wooden chair as Michael went to order for the both of us.

When Michael came back to the table with my black coffee and his tea, I couldn't help but think back to when Luke and I first met.

I wasn't allowed to bring my phone with me when me and Michael went job-hunting as he told me that having my phone would be too much of a distraction for me.

"Oh my god," Michael groaned, rolling his eyes before laughing.

"What?" I questioned confused on why he was laughing.

"We've spent hours searching for places for you to work in, when you could easily work here."

I sighed laughing along with him. "I'll go see if Rosie is here," I told him getting off my seat walking to the counter.

After asking her if there was any places for a job, she had told me that she was in fact looking for a new waitress and that I looked like I could fit the job.

I thanked her before walking back over to the table where Michael was situated to tell him the good news.

After he congratulated me and told me not to be worrying about Luke not replying, I went back home to prepare myself for working tomorrow.

The next day, I quickly made my way to Roise's, keeping an close eye on the time, as I did not want to be late for my first day at my new job.

Once I walked in, I saw Roise sitting at a table filling out what seemed to be paper work. The chime above chimed signalling my arrival. Roise looked over her shoulder, noticing that it was me.

"Hayden, isn't it?" She questioned as I made my way over to the table where she was sitting.

I nodded my head, watching her stack the pieces of paper into a brown box before sealing it up.

"It doesn't really get busy in the café until at least lunch time, so by any chance could you bring these down to the post office and post them for me?" She asked handing me the sealed box that was now placed in a brown envelope.

"Yeah sure," I replied taking the box from her.

I quickly left the café, walking the short distance into the town to send the package. Once I arrived at the post office, I noticed a familiar red SnapBack placed on someone in the post office.

I cautiously walked into the post office, and made my way to the back of the line. I kept my eyes on the person with the red SnapBack, trying to see if it was Luke or someone else.

As I made my way to the back of the line, which was directly behind the person wearing the SnapBack, I realised that it wasn't Luke. My heart sunk a bit as I actually thought that maybe it was him.

I still hadn't heard from Luke, which annoyed me as I didn't do anything to him.

I ignored him for no reason too.

After waiting a few minutes I finally sent off the package and quickly made my way back up to Roise's.

I opened the door to the café, the warm air hitting me. I had realised that in the time I had been gone that many regulars had come in, making the café look busy.

I walked behind the counter to where Roise was as she handed me a brown apron.

"All I need you to do for today is just make the beverages and stuff, I'll show you how to do the paper work tomorrow. I'll be in the back room if you need anything." Roise told me, patting me on the back before leaving me alone at the counter.

I placed my apron on, before grabbing a cloth and some cleaner deciding to wipe down the counter as I had nothing better to do.

As I was cleaning the chime had signalled that someone came in. I wiped up the last piece of dirt before grabbing my notepad and pen to serve the customer.

I placed a friendly smile on my face and looked up to see who the customer was only to see Luke with his arm wrapped around a brown haired girl.
