[A Day To Remember- All I Want]
I stared unblinking at Amelia. She was standing there, her arms crossed loosely around her stomach, a soft smile placed on her face.
"Amelia, what are you doing here?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I just came here to clear the air between us, but I can see that this isn't a good time," she said, her eyes taking in my dress. "Look, Hayden, I'm sorry for being a bitch to you, I don't even know why I was being a bitch to you, I mean you didn't even do anything to me. But, yeah I'm sorry, I just wanted to clear the air."
I let out a deep breath relieved that this was what she was here for. I smiled at her, respecting that she came over to apologise to me. "Thank you for apologising, it means a lot to me, I'm going off now, but come into Roise's tomorrow and we can talk, I'm working there now." I told her, as I saw a jeep pull into the drive way.
Amelia nodded her head at me, smiling back. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then, have fun with Luke." She replied, winking at me before walking away from me.
I shook my head, surprised at just what had happened before I saw Luke jump out of a jeep and walking over to me. Butterflies erupted into my stomach when I saw him.
As he walked towards me, I studied what he was wearing, which was a red and black checkered shirt with the first two buttons undone, a pair of black skinny jeans. His blonde hair was quiffed, and a smile was placed on his face.
"Hi," he said quietly, standing in front of me.
"Hello," I replied shyly, looking down at my feet.
"You look beautiful Haydes," Luke said which made me look up, my smile growing bigger.
I could feel the heat rush into my cheeks, as I ducked my head once again so he couldn't see the blush.
I heard Luke chuckle before taking my hand and leading me to his jeep. Once we got to the jeep, he opened the passenger door for me, I smiled at him, before getting into the vehicle and placing my seat belt on.
"I never knew you drove, let alone owned a vehicle." I told him, as he adjusted his seat and front mirror.
"I don't drive much, I like walking." He replied, placing his seat belt on, turning the key in the ignition.
"So, where are we going?" I asked as an unknown song came through the speakers of the radio.
"It's a surprise," Luke replied, looking at me and winking.
I sighed, "Can't you give me one clue?"
Luke shook his head, smirking. "Nope, you're just going to have to wait and see."

Fifteen minutes later after driving and random conversations we had arrived at our destination. I looked around expecting to see a small diner or some restaurant but instead all I saw was trees. I looked over at Luke confused, but he didn't say anything, he just got out of his jeep.
I unbuckled my seat belt, placing my hand on the door and stepping out of the jeep. As I looked around my surroundings, I realised that we were near a lake, as it was still bright, the sky was turning to a purpleish-blue haze above us, I spotted a blanket placed near the lake.
I looked around for Luke, noticing him taking a basket out of his jeep before turning around to me. Luke didn't say anything, he just smiled and took my hand leading me to the blanket he had placed out.
When we reached the blanket, I followed his actions and sat down on the blanket keeping an reasonable space between us.
"I was going to bring you to a restaurant, but I thought having our own picnic would be better instead of waiting forever for food, and in least this way it's just the two of us." Luke told me, pulling out food from the basket.
"This is so much better than a restaurant, thank you Luke," I replied smiling at him.
Luke made eye contact with me, smiling back before placing his hand over mine once again, his thumb swiping over my hand, making more butterflies erupt into my stomach. "You don't have to thank me Haydes."
"I do, you didn't have to do any of this." I told him using my other hand to flick a piece of hair away from my face.
"Why didn't I have to do any of this?" He questioned letting go of my hand and passing me a sandwich.
"You just didn't Luke," I replied, taking the sandwich from him, taking a small bite. I moaned into the sandwich enjoying the taste which made Luke laugh at my sound.
"Never knew a sandwich could give you so much pleasure Hayden." Luke said to me winking.
I rolled my eyes before leaning over and hitting him gently on the arm. "Shut it." I said, glaring at him, continuing to eat my sandwich.
As we sat and talked and ate, I realised how comfortable I was around Luke. I mean, I was always comfortable around Luke, but this comfortableness was the comfort that I could feel myself sitting with him every day and never getting sick of him. Getting to know every small detail about him, or he would bite his lip ring, bringing it slowly into his mouth before letting it go again.
After we had finished our small picnic, Luke lied back down on the blanket, dragging me down with him. The stars had began to come out in the sky above us, being the only light that only illuminated around us. I've always loved the sky, the calmness of looking up at it, and the calming feeling it gave you.
"Favourite movie?" Luke asked, as we played twenty questions his shoulder bumping into mine, sending shivers down my arm.
"Uhm, I think it has to be Lilo and Stitch, because I had a close connection to both of them when I was younger," I replied, smiling when I heard Luke chuckle beside me.
"You're such a child at heart, aren't you?" He questioned, turning on his side to look at me.
I kept my gaze on the sky above me, watching the stars twinkle, to try and distract myself from knowing that Luke was looking at me.
"I know, I just really like that movie." I replied, biting down on my lip to stop myself from looking at him. Although I wanted to see his brilliant blue eyes and his handsome face, I knew that once I turned to look at him, I wouldn't be able to control myself.
As I stared at the sky, I heard Luke sigh in content as rolled back on to his back, his hand claiming mine and twining our hands together.
I was about to say something to Luke but by the minute I was about to say something Luke shifted over, hovering over me slightly before placing his lips on mine.
My lips parted instantly under his, my hands going straight for his hair as he deepened the kiss. The kisses were slow and gentle, making my head swirl.
Luke pulled away panting slightly, staring down at me his lips parted as he cupped my face. "I know this isn't the order it's supposed to be in, but I love you Hayden, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
I stared up at him, stroking his cheek, as I smiled up at him, nodding my head, as he placed his lips on mine once again.
