Once we pulled up to the house, the loud sound of the music blasted through the small car I was situated in. As I peered out the fogged up window, I instantly regretted my decision of coming to this stupid party.
"Haydes, are you sure you want to go in?" Luke asked me, placing his hand on my knee and pulling me away from my thoughts.
I gulped, and placed a fake smile on my face, placing my hand on top of Luke's. "Of course I do, come on," I said opening the car door and stepping out before I changed my mind.
Luke came around and placed his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him as we walked up the cobbled path that led to the house in front of us. Red plastic cups were spilled around us as intoxicated teenagers laughing at themselves tripping up as they wobbled down the path.
"Are you drinking?" Luke questioned as we walked through the front door of the house which was left wide open. The music only got louder and the sights of the neon lights were already starting to give me a headache.
I shrugged, "I don't know, are you?"
Luke shook his head, his eyes adverting around the crowd around us. "I'm not in the mood."
"That makes two of us," I mumbled under my breath as Michael and Amelia appeared beside us.
"I'm so glad you guys made it!" Amelia screamed over the music, a bright smile placed on her face. She wrapped her free arm around Luke and pulled him into a hug, before smiling at me and walking away.
What the hell?
Michael moved closer to me and pulled me into him, snuggling his face into my neck. "I'm a bit drunk," Michael said laughing at himself which made me chuckle.
I patted him on the back. "It's okay, you'll be fine Mikey."
Michael pulled away from me smiling before a serious expression crossed his face. "Be careful of Amelia tonight." Michael said.
I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What?" I asked but before Michael could reply he was dragged away by a group of his friends.
I decided to shrug off what Michael said knowing that he was drunk as Luke led us more into the house.

An hour into the party, I was contemplating whether or not to leave or not. I was sitting on a leather couch with two couples sitting beside me, except these two couples had their tongues stuck down each other's throats, making the noise of their tongues sucking on each other's louder than the music going on around me.
Luke had left ten minutes ago to go get us some drinks, and as I sat there waiting I couldn't get rid of the words Michael had said to me. I knew that Michael was intoxicated but why would he warn me off Amelia for no reason at all?
An elbow to my side from one couple made me jump up quickly from the couch as i manoeuvred my way through the teenagers. I didn't know where I was going, or even where Luke or Michael was but I needed some fresh air, and to get away from the horrible music that was being played.
I quickly found the door that me and Luke had entered and I quickly opened it up and stepped outside. Once outside I breathed in the fresh air, walking out more to ease the noise of the music behind me.
I stood still and rubbed my temples trying to somewhat ease the pain that was there.
I opened my eyes and looked around noticing that I seemed to be the only one outside.
"Be careful of Amelia."
The words were swirling around and around in my head making my head hurt more. I sighed and kicked a stone angrily wondering where the fuck Luke was.
It doesn't take ten minutes to get a drink does it?
I turned around and stormed back into the house as images of Luke and Amelia kissing flooded through my head making me walk even faster.
I pushed open the door and shoved my way through the teenagers, some I was shoving lightly but others I shoved harder making them nearly fall. I would have turned around and apologised but I had to find Luke, or Amelia to stop the horrible images that my mind was showing.
As I checked the kitchen and the sitting room throughly, I realised that neither Luke or Amelia were there, and the only place that I had left to check was upstairs.
As I reached the bottom of the stairs I took a deep breath, before stepping up the stairs and past the passed out teenagers, stepping over them gently making sure not to hurt them or hurt myself.
As I reached the top of the landing, I looked around at the doors that were in front of me. My head felt dizzy, and I felt like getting sick.
I counted the doors and realised that there was five in total. Five doors to open and hopefully not find something that would ruin me.
I stepped towards the first door, taking a big breath I slowly wrapped my hand around the handle before turning it down and pushing open the door. I peered into the room only to be seen with darkness. I placed my hand on the wall beside the door and moved around until I found a light switch, once I found something that felt like it, I pressed it to be seen with light.
I heard a squeak and I closed my eyes quickly praying that it wasn't who I thought I was.
"What the fuck?" I heard a deep male voice, I quickly opened my eyes relief flooding through me as I knew it wasn't Luke.
"Sorry," I said quickly before turning around and closing the door quickly.
Four doors to go..
I stepped over to the next door quickly opening it, to reveal an empty room. I stepped in and checked around to make sure that it was empty, but after walking around it I realised that no one was in this room.
After closing the door, I turned around only to whack into someone.
I looked up, at the person I stepped into to see that it was Matty.
"Hi," Matty said quietly, looking down at me.
"Hey," I squeaked back, a rush of emotions running through me.
"What are you doing?" He questioned.
"I'm urm looking for Luke," I said feeling my throat close as I gulped down the tears.
"Why are you looking for him upstairs?"
"Because," I said but I was cut off by a door opening that I hadn't gotten to check to open and for my ears to hear a familiar laugh that I had gotten so used to.
I looked behind Matty slowly, to see Luke and Amelia leaving the bedroom smiling at each other and their hands entwined.
