AN: I don't own Doctor Who, or any of the characters. I don't own you either.
Your POV
Slowly, you walked down the steps of the TARDIS to the main console. As you did, you were greeted by Amy happily. "Hi, Y/N." She said, clearly still shaken up slightly by the discovery of the TARDIS. You smiled at her, and returned her greeting. The Doctor looked up from the console, a grin on his face. "So where do you want to go, Amy?" You asked, leaning against the end of the staircase. Amy seemed surprised by your question. "I can go anywhere?" She asked, and The Doctor nodded.
"But first, I have something I'd like to show you." The Doctor said, dragging Amy by the hand to the TARDIS doors. You hung back, as The Doctor flung the doors open, revealing outer space. You watched as Amy smiled happily, and moved forward slightly. "How are we breathing?" She asked. "I've extended the air shell." The Doctor stated as if it was simple. "Would you like to go outside?" Amy looked at him with confusion in her eyes. "Won't I float away or something?" She questioned.
"I'll hold onto your ankle. I promise not to let you go." The Doctor said, and Amy smiled. She nodded, and stepped out the TARDIS. The Doctor held onto her ankle, and you heard the pair of them laughing. You felt a strange feeling in your heart, that was almost like jealousy. But you reassured yourself. You weren't jealous of Amy. You had nothing to be jealous of, you didn't like The Doctor in that way. Did you? Removing all those thoughts from your head, you looked around at your surroundings. The TARDIS had updated itself, and it was even more beautiful than it was before. The walls glowed many different shades of faint orange and brown, complementing the blue exterior.  The console itself was a combination of several different unusual switches and buttons, and you had no idea what half of them did. You ran your fingers along the edge of the console, and it seemed the TARDIS could understand your feelings, as it let out a quiet whir. You smiled to yourself faintly, it honestly wouldn't surprise you if the ship had some sort of telepathic understanding. To your right were the stairs up to the main living areas for you and Amy. The pair of you had separate rooms, which you were glad for. The Doctor didn't have a room, since he apparently didn't need to sleep. "Now that's interesting." You heard The Doctor comment, and you turned around. "Y/N, come here." He said softly, and you did as he said. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly, and you nodded.
"I'm fine." You replied. "What's interesting?" The Doctor pointed out the TARDIS at a huge spaceship below you. Tall skyscraper like buildings towered up, but not quite tall enough to touch the TARDIS.  "29th century, solar flares roast the Earth, so the entire race packs its bags and moves out until the weather improves." The Doctor explained, walking over to the main TARDIS console. "Whole nations, migrating to the stars."
"Doctor?" Amy questioned. He ignored her, and Amy repeated herself, louder this time. You turned to see what she wanted, and you saw that Amy was clinging on for dear life to the top of the TARDIS. "Doctor!" Amy exclaimed, and he finally looked at her.
"Well, come on!" The Doctor said, bringing her back down. "I've found us a spaceship!"
"This is the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland." The Doctor explained, as the three of you stared at an image of the spaceship below you. "All of it, bolted together and floating in the sky. Starship UK, it's Britain, but metal!" The Doctor said. "That's not just a ship. That's an idea. That's a whole country, living and laughing and..." He paused for a moment. "Shopping." He added, causing Amy to laugh. "Searching the stars for a new home."
"Can we go out and see?" Amy asked.
"Course we can. But first there's a thing." The Doctor said.
"A thing?" Amy questioned.
"An important thing. In fact, thing one, we are observers only."  He said. "That's the one rule I've always stuck to in all my travels. I never get involved in the events of other peoples or planets." He turned on the screen, and cried, "Ooh! That's interesting." You looked over his shoulder to see he was watching a young girl who was sat by herself, sobbing quietly.
"So we're like a wildlife documentary?" Amy asked. "Cos if they see a wounded cub or something, they can't help it. They've got to keep filming and let it die." You were about to reply, when both you and Amy noticed that the Doctor had disappeared.
"Where's he gone to now?" You questioned, as Amy tapped your arm and pointed at the screen. You looked up to see The Doctor attempting to talk to the little girl, who immediately ran off. The Doctor got up, and motioned directly at the pair of you to follow him. "Come on, Pond." You said, using the nickname that the Doctor had assigned her. Amy smiled at you, and the pair of you left the TARDIS together. "I'm in the future." Amy mumbled. "Like... hundreds of years in the future." You smiled at her.
"Awesome, isn't it?" You said, causing her to laugh.
"I've been dead for centuries." Amy said as the pair of you found The Doctor.
"Me too." You said, looking at her. She tilted her head in confusion.
"Really? When are you from?" She questioned.
"2011." You said.
"Oh, lovely!" The Doctor interrupted. "You two are cheery, aren't you?" You shrugged your shoulders. "Never mind dead, look at this place." The both of you followed The Doctor, not realising that you had just started your next adventure with him. And this one would change things forever.
