AN: I do not own Doctor Who or any of the characters. I don't own you either.
Your POV
After The Doctor's outburst, the four of you were stood in silence. Nobody said anything, until Amy let out a noise, clutching her stomach. Panic overtook you, as you thought that she was going into labour. You looked at Rory, who seemed to share your fear. Amy began to scream, as you turned to Rory. "You're a Doctor! What do we do?" You snapped. Rory looked back in fear, as Amy's screaming got louder.
"He's a Doctor too!" Rory replied, looking at The Doctor. The Doctor looked back at him in confusion, before turning back to Amy.
"It's OK, we're Doctors!" He said reassuringly. "What do we do?" Amy began to pant, as you threw your hands up.
"I don't know! Oddly enough, I've had a baby before!" You cried, before looking at Amy. "The closest I've ever got to having a baby is watching Casualty." Amy rolled her eyes, and stopped screaming.
"OK, it's not coming." She admitted calmly.
"What?" The Doctor asked.
"This is my life now, and it just turned you white as a sheet." Amy answered, causing a smile to form on your face. "So don't you ever call it dull again, OK?"
"Sorry." The Doctor replied.
"Just warn me next time you're going to give me a panic attack, OK, Pond?" You said, as Amy stormed past you, Rory and The Doctor angrily. Rory nodded awkwardly at The Doctor, before chasing after his wife. The Doctor stared ahead, and you lightly placed your hand on his shoulder. "What are you..." You trailed off, before noticing one of patients from the old people's home in the distance, walking towards the children in the field. "What is she up to?" You asked quietly, as The Doctor ran after Amy and Rory. The four of you stopped at a swing-set on the playground just opposite the field. Amy took the left swing, and The Doctor took the right, meaning you and Rory had to stand. You crossed your arms, and watched the old woman in curiosity. "Now, we all know there's an elephant in the room." The Doctor began.
"I have to be this size, I'm having a baby!" Amy snapped angrily.
"No, no. The hormones seem real, but no. Is nobody going to mention Rory's ponytail?" The Doctor questioned, beginning to swing back and forth. Amy smiled at him, as he continued, "You hold him down and I'll cut it off?"
"Oh, don't be mean." You commented, but you couldn't ignore the smile on your face. You sighed, and pushed The Doctor on the swing lightly. "This from the man in the bow tie." Rory stated.
"Bow ties are cool." The Doctor replied, getting on his feet. He stared at the old woman and continued, "I don't know about you, but I wouldn't hire Mrs Poggit as a babysitter." The woman turned around to face you, as he asked, "What is she doing? What does she want?" Before you could answer, birdsong filled your head again. Sleepily, you tried to stay on your feet, but failed miserably. You ended up lying on the tarmac beside Rory as darkness took over.
"It's really cold." Amy's voice was the first thing you heard as you woke back up. "Have you got any warm clothing?"
"What does it matter if we're cold?" The Doctor exclaimed. "We have to know what she's up to!" Upon seeing Amy's confused expression, he let out a sigh. "Sorry. Sorry. There should be some stuff down there. Have a look." Amy went to investigate, and Rory went after her slowly, after glaring at The Doctor. The Doctor turned to you slowly, and said, "Y/N, could you do me a favour?"  You nodded, wrapping your arms around yourself to keep warm. "What is it?" You asked.
"Can you go upstairs, and into the library? There should be a box in one of the large trunks by the door. It's small and black. You'll know it when you find it. Can you bring it to me?" He explained. You nodded in agreement, and went to go upstairs. "Y/N, hang on." He called, as you felt something warm being draped around your shoulders. You pulled at it, as you realised that it was The Doctor's jacket. You looked back at him in confusion, as he answered, "It's so you can stay warm." You smiled softly, and kissed his cheek. Then, you quickly jogged up the stairs on your way to the library. You had no idea what The Doctor wanted you to get, and your curiosity was killing you. Easily you found the library, and began to rummage through one of the large, old wooden trunks. Within moments, you had pulled out a palm sized black box. The surface was covered in strange markings, similar to those you had seen on the Home Box that River had carved into. What on earth was this? You guessed that this was what The Doctor wanted you to get, but it didn't seem like it'd be much help in getting you out of this situation. As you stared at it in your palm, you heard a voice in your mind. Don't open it, Y/N. It's meant to be a surprise. The voice stated, as you stayed still. The Dream Lord hadn't quite explained what was going on with this voice in your mind. In fact, he had no idea what it was. How do you know? You thought, hoping that the voice could hear you. I know The Doctor too well, Y/N. The voice answered. I know exactly what runs through his mind. I normally try to block out his thoughts when you're around, because I honestly do not want those kind of thoughts in my memory core. However, I have a direct link with him, so I know what he's thinking about right now. He worries about you, Y/N. Even though he may not admit it much, he truly loves you. And the thought of you leaving terrifies him. He wants you to stay. Just at that moment, everything made sense. The voice... The box... "Oh my God!" You mumbled softly. "No way... Thank you!" You called, before running out of the library. You finally understood what was going on.
AN: And I'm going to end it there! Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoyed! And I'll see you in the next one!
