AN: I don't own Doctor Who, or any of the characters. I don't own you either.
Your POV
For apparent 'educational' reasons, The Doctor had brought you and Amy to a museum. You knew all too well why you were here, it was so The Doctor could brag about the various places he had been. But he'd never admit it. As you looked at some sort of model in a glass case, you heard The Doctor wandering around mumbling the word "Wrong," at each exhibit. You looked up at him, as he exclaimed, "I love museums!"
"Yeah, great. Can we go to a planet now?" Amy questioned, clearly bored by her surroundings. "A big spaceship, Churchill's Bunker, you promised me a planet next." The Doctor let out a sigh, and appeared by your side. He studied the model you were looking at, and replied,
"Amy, this isn't any old asteroid. It's the Delerium Archive. The final resting place of the headless monks, the biggest museum ever!"
"The headless monks?" You questioned. "How can they be monks if they're headless?"  The Doctor went to answer your question, as Amy interrupted, "You've got a time machine. What do you need museums for?" The Doctor walked away, continuing to call the exhibits wrong. You let out a sigh of exasperation, and followed him. "Oh, I see! It's how you keep score." Amy realised, and you nodded. You watched at The Doctor stopped at an exhibit containing a large, old box. "What's that?" You asked, leaning against the glass container keeping the box safe. As you studied it, you noticed a series of symbols on the top. You had no idea what they meant, but they felt slightly familiar to you. "Oh, great. An old box." Amy commented sarcastically.
"It's from one of the old starliners, a Home Box." The Doctor explained.
"What's a Home Box?" Amy asked.
"Like a black box on a plane, except it homes." The Doctor replied. "Anything happens to the ship, the Home Box flies home with all the flight data." As you concentrated on the symbols, your vision blurred, and your head began to hurt.
"What language is that?" You questioned.
"Old High Gallifreyan, why?" The Doctor asked.
"It's hurting my head." You replied, closing your eyes and gritting your teeth.
"Is she alright?" Amy said, as The Doctor put his hands on either side of your face. He turned you around, and said softly,
"Y/N, open your eyes." Hesitantly, you did as he said. His own green eyes stared into your own, slight concern evident in them. He let go of your face, instead choosing to grab hold of your right wrist. His thumb traced symbols on the inside of your wrist, as the pain receded into a headache.  "Doctor, what's wrong with me?" You asked, as he produced the sonic with his spare hand.
"Probably just the TARDIS translation circuits attempting to translate the language. How do you feel now?" He asked, scanning you.
"A bit better. I've got a headache." You answered. The Doctor nodded.
"You should be fine." He replied, letting you go. "Let me know if it gets any worse." You nodded in response, and Amy said,
"You were saying? What's so special about this box?"
"Oh. It's Old High Gallifreyan, the lost language of the Time Lords." The Doctor began. When you turned back to face the box, you realised that the symbols had translated to form words. "There were days, there were many days, these words could burn stars and raise up empires, and topple Gods."
"What does it say?" Amy asked.
"Hello sweetie." Both you and The Doctor answered. He turned to face you, a look of confusion on his face. "How do you know that?"
"TARDIS translation circuits. You said so yourself." You replied.
"It doesn't translate Gallifreyan." He said. "Not normally anyway." You looked back at him, confusion also on your face.
"What are we going to do with this box?" Amy asked. The Doctor looked away from you briefly, and replied,
"We're going to steal it." He turned back to you, and said, "I'll deal with you later."

As you ran after Amy and The Doctor, sirens filled the museum. "Was stealing it really the best option?" You asked, as guards chased you. The Doctor shrugged, as you jumped in the TARDIS. "Why are we doing this?" Amy inquired as the TARDIS took off.
"Cos someone on a spaceship 12,000 years ago is trying to attract my attention." The Doctor replied, wiring the box into the TARDIS. "Let's see if we can get the security playback working."  You looked over his shoulder, as a black and white video of a curly haired woman appeared on the screen. She pulled down her sunglasses and briefly winked at the camera before walking away. The Doctor adjusted the wires, and another video appeared on the screen. It was of the same woman as before, with her back to the camera. "The party's over, Doctor Song, but you're still on board." A voice on the video commented. The woman turned around, and laughed.
"Sorry, Alistair, I needed to see what was in your vault." She replied. "Do you all know what's down there? Any of you? Because I'll tell you something, this ship won't reach its destination."
"Wait till she runs. Don't make it look like an execution." The voice from before said.  The woman checked a device on her wrist, and recited,
"Triple seven, five/, three, four, nine by ten. Zero twelve/ acorn. Oh, and I could do with an air corridor." The Doctor dashed to his right, and entered the numbers into the TARDIS using a keyboard. "What was that? What did she say?" Amy asked.
"Co-ordinates!" The Doctor replied happily. You and Amy kept watching the video, as the woman continued,
"Like I said on the dance floor, you might want to find something to hang onto." The woman blew a kiss at the camera as the door flew open and she drifted out into space. The Doctor ran to the TARDIS doors and pulled them open, just in time for the woman to fall in and land on top of him. "Doctor?" Amy asked.
"River?" The Doctor said softly, as the woman got up.
"Follow that ship!" She yelled, as the spaceship she had just ejected from, sped away.
"Does anybody want to tell me what's going on?" You asked, as River looked at you. A smile emerged on her face.
"Oh, hello, Y/N. Nice to see you again." She said; walking up to the TARDIS console. Her eyes studied your neckline, and added, "I see he let you keep the necklace. Now, are we actually going to follow the ship?" The Doctor dashed past her, and started the TARDIS up again.
"How do you know my name?" You asked. "Have we met before?" River smirked.
"Spoilers." She replied, winking at you and walking off to join the Doctor. You turned to Amy, who seemed just as confused as you. Who on Earth was this woman, and how did she know your name?
