Ch19 - Visit

Without thinking about it, I ran up the stairs Peter was always on. I made sure to stay out of sight. I could still hear them talk though. 

The door opened and two heartbeats walked in.

"Is she here?" Stiles asked.

"Who, Liz? No she went to school this morning." Derek replied casually. 

"Yeah dipshit, and then she left again." Stiles said to Derek.

There was a slight pause and I heard Stiles's heartbeat quicken like he was scared.

"Okay, no dipshit." he said. "noted."

"What did you do to her?" Scott asked.

"I didn't do anything." Derek said. "You kicked her out. She was scared and alone when I found her."

Pff exaggerator.

"So she's really not here?" Stiles asked sounding a bit guilty.

"No." Isaac said. His heart skipped a beat but apparently no one payed attention to it. They must've learned to ignore those things. It probably becomes kinda annoying when you have to hear everyones heartbeats when you're talking to someone.

Stiles and Scott left. I waited a bit until I was really sure that they were gone before I came out of my hiding place.

"Why did you hid?" Isaac asked.

"Uh... It's a habit." I answered.

Peter and Derek kept staring at me. I got really uncomfortable by it.

"What?" I asked with a small voice.

"Tell us." Peter demanded with a very powerful voice.

"Tell you what?" I asked confused.

"Why do you have blue eyes?"

I looked down. Images of my past instantly shot infront of my eyes. So many memories I promised never to think about again "It's not dangerous. Just something from my past." I kept repeating. 

My heartbeat quickened at the thoughts of my memories and I felt that I'd shifted.

"It's nothing." I said more to myself then to the others and calmed myself down. 

When I looked up I saw that they were all staring at me. God dammit this is awkward.

"Train harder." Peter stated and wandered off. Derek sighed and motioned us to follow him.
