I woke up in a bed I didn't recognize. Weird scents filled my nose and I wondered where I was. I slowly got up, expecting my body to be sore from the fight. Instead I didn't feel any pain at all. It was like I was just healthy again.
I inspected my body. The wounds were gone, like it never happened. I frowned slightly. I didn't know I would heal that fast. When I saw the wounds last time, I thought that it would take at least a week to heal.
I heard footsteps getting closer to the door. I looked up and tried to catch some sort of scent to know who it was but I couldn't find one. Something I wasn't thinking about at the moment but suddenly I realized that I really couldn't find it. As if it didn't had a scent.
Could it be someone like me? I also have a very feint smell. Everybody keeps telling me that.
I looked at the door in expectation. It slowly opened revealing none other than my dad.
"Still in bed at this hour?" he said with his disappointed face which gave me a panic attack.
My breathing became heavier and my heart began to pound of fear. I looked at my side where a random clock appeared. The red lights said '06:24'.
"You know I can't allow that. People will think that you're lazy."
I wanted to protest, saying that 6:30 AM too early was for people to judge but I knew that that would only make my situation worse. I got up from the bed and looked at my dad to see what he'd planned.
"Go get the taser."
I quickly walked past him and walked into a familiar room. My dad actually didn't own a taser. If he did, it would be registered and people would know about it. No, my dad made his own 'taser'. With just some random do it yourself gear and some wires, he made his own electrical shocking device.
I got it from the bottom drawer and turned around to walk back. My dad was blocking the doorway with a wicked grin on his face. The one that just screams 'I won'.
I gave him his 'taser'. He looked like a kid in a candy store and began to wire me up. I looked at the amount of ampere he put it on. I'm not stupid. I did my research. He put it on 0.1 Ampere. I looked up in horror. 0.1 to 0.2 Ampere is enough to kill you.
I tried to get away but my dad had suddenly used duct tape to tape the wires to me. I couldn't get it off as he reached for the on button.
I began to really panic. I could die like this!
I tensed up and braced for the pain, just hoping I would survive it. My dad turned on the machine.
I shot up in panic and I hit my head on some sort of roof. I groaned and laid back again. The soft humming from an engine filled my ears and Derek's scent filled my nose.
"Are you okay?" He said concerned.
Just a dream. Act normal.
I sat up but not without some trouble. My body was sore from the fighting and my head pounded. Derek had laid me in the back of the car so that I could lie down instead of having to sit up while I was out.
"Yeah. I'm okay." I said while catching my breath.
"Are you sure? Your heart is pounding like crazy."
I swallowed once and focused on getting my heartbeat down. It was way easier when I wasn't in werewolf form. When you're in werewolf form, everything around you is interesting and distracting so it is harder to concentrate.
"Yeah. I'm okay." I said more confidently when my heartbeat was close to normal. "Where are the others? And what about the Lorem?"
"I don't know. The others chased it but I haven't been able to contact them since then."
"Then where are we going?" I asked confused.
"I'm driving you to my place-"
"What? No, go back. We'll fight."
"Liz, you're hurt."
"I can manage."
"Liz..." Derek said in a way that said not negotiable.
"Fiiiine." I said as I slowly let myself fall on the seats. I was kinda glad Derek didn't listen because everything hurt.
