When I got back in the evening, I saw the light burning in the house. As soon as I opened the door, Mr Stilinski walked over to me.

"I know you saw the bills... But I still can't take your money." he said as he tried to push the envelope back in my hands.

"I'm not taking it back." I said as I pushed it back. "Why won't you take it in the first place?"

"Liz, you're an under aged girl who deserved this money by working hard for it. You shouldn't have to spend it on something like this."

"I shouldn't have had to do a lot of things but yet here I am. You are taking this money." I said confidently "I'm eating your food and sleeping under your roof and so far you haven't even once asked for anything back."

"You are barely any extra expenses!" he exclaimed while placing the envelope on the kitchen table. "You eat way less than Stiles or me, you don't take long showers, you don't need extra money for clothes. You are not the reason we are in debt."

"And I will also not be the reason why you guys are still in debt!"

"We are in debt?" Stiles asked disbelieving as he stepped down the last few steps on the stairs.

Great. Good job Liz. Now he doesn't want to take your money and Stiles knows.

I saw Mr Stilinski looking at me like he wanted a moment with Stiles alone. I went upstairs, leaving my money on the kitchen table on purpose.

Stiles was a bit down the next day. I'd decided to go to school since my wounds weren't as obvious as before. In the car ride to school, he kept coming up with things he could do to make some money.

I wanted to get a bit less involved with the people. I mean, sure, Lydia and Allison were nice to me. So were Isaac and Scott but I just didn't wanted to be that involved.

When you are alone, it is very easy to eavesdrop. That one weird guy or girl in the back of the class, that one weirdo that never talks, he or she knows what's going on in the school. She knows who likes who. He knows who back stabbed who. They know more than you'll ever find out by asking. Plus, they are good at reading body language.

I'd mastered these skills in my years and I missed using them. So I didn't talk during classes, wandered around or sat by myself during lunch and only talked to the others after school. They didn't really question it.

I kept doing this for the next few days and soon I'd heard the most rumors. Someone apparently stole a book from the library. Which I think was true after observing the person. Some girl apparently slept with a lot of guys. Something I doubted but she did look the part. And some dude his parents got a scandalous divorce.

To be honest, none of them seemed like interesting rumors to me. Well apart from the book one but that one was quite obvious. The girl was nervous all day long and every time a teacher approached her, she nearly had a panic attack.

I was walking through the halls. The bell rang half an hour ago. I had a free period. I was just thinking about how the full moon was tonight and that I was doing better than last time.

Just when I was about to turn around the corner, I heard people talking. I leaned against the wall and eavesdropped.

It were the guys who started the rumor and the girl who was being called slut.

"Stop making these stupid rumors!" the girl exclaimed tiredly.

"I don't know. I kinda like them."

"We should think of an other one."

"True... But what else could she have done? I mean she's already slept with half of the school." one joked. The others began to laugh.

I heard the heartbeat of the girl rise a little from anger.

I was so done with all these assheads. All of them are the same.

"You guys are stupid." I said while coming out of my hiding spot and walking towards them.

"Where did she come from?" I heard one guy quietly whisper to the other. They weren't expecting me and were all thrown off a little.

"Who are you?" the 'funny' one said.

"When you say that she's slept with all of you, that makes you a man-whore, idiot." I said with my well practised poker face.

They were quiet for one second longer than the other time. "Who the fuck do you think you are?" the buffest guy said.

I just kept my bangs in front of my eyes. I knew that my ears were probably red by now. This was something I usually wouldn't do. Everyone's focus is on me! Normally I would've just ignored them and eavesdropped until they left.

"I asked something!" the buff guy said while stepping closer to me, trying to intimidate me with his height.

"And I ignored it. What is your point?" I said while standing my ground.

The guy was at least one head taller than me and if I were human, he could've easily knocked me over.

The guy did not like my answer and I saw him tense up. His friends were also really pissed off at this point. They stood next to the buff guy and all glared at me.

I looked over to the girl. She was still confused.

"Last chance." one of the guys said dangerously low.

I felt my heartbeat go faster by the second. Too much focus on me. They're getting too close. I'm getting myself in too much trouble.

Instead of answering them, I glared at them. They did not like it at all and the buffest guy shoved me. I could've easily won the fight but I knew that I needed something to keep me from shifting. So I let him.

I stumbled back and fell on my side. The guys laughed again and walked off, enjoying their little victory.

I looked at the girl. She was still standing on the same spot and looked angry. I stood up, brushing off my clothes. Before I was done brushing my clothes, the girl spoke up.

"What the fuck was that?" she said angrily.

I looked at her in disbelieve. I hadn't helped her because I wanted to help her. I'd wanted to beat those assheads, which still helped her in the process. Why would she be mad?

"Oh you think that you know me? That you understand me?" she began to laugh at me "How could you possibly understand anything about me?"

"You're so right. Because no one has gone through what you've been through. You've definitely had the worst life in this whole school building. Probably the worst life in Beacon Hills!" I said sarcastically.

She glared at me "Well you would know since you're like stalking me or something."

Two other slutty girls came walking towards her.

"Hey! Are you okay? What are you doing talking to her?" one said with a disgracing way while motioning her head to me.

She gave them an obvious fake smile. "I don't know. She's so weird. She just randomly came up to talk to me. I think she's some sort of stalker."

Her friends began to give me weird looks. I turned around and walked away with their eyes obviously burning holes in my back.
